2. The 2% principle is a tool we use everyday. This came out of a lifelong habit of
collecting things that are solidly within the top 2% of their field. Some examples
are end of year earnings reports, marketing materials, culture components,
financial modeling, UX/UI, team collaboration tools etc.

The 2% Principle begins with this question: “Is what I am spending time on and
executing in the top 2% of everything else in this field?”
!
For the purpose of this course, this is important because you are competing not
only with your classmates, but people on a global level.
Please note, that you don’t have be within the top percentage right now, but you
want to move there. The top 2% is the baseline to measure against. I'm not giving
you a set of rules or criteria that will get you there. This needs to be your internal
adventure. You will need to own the 2% principle for it to be meaningful to you and
your trajectory. If used over time, The 2% principles will touch everything you do.
