2. As owner and operator of Diesel Engine Sales Company in St.
Augustine, Florida, my father, L.C. “Ring” Ringhaver, preferred to
power the shrimp boats his company built and sold with Cat®
diesel
engines. In fact, he sold so many Cat marine engines to customers
around the world that Caterpillar®
awarded him the engine franchise
for Florida in 1961, and Ring Power Corporation was formed. One year
later, Ring Power was named the full line Cat equipment dealer in
North Florida.
Today, Ring Power is comprised of 13 specialized divisions with more
than 1,800 employees and more than 26 locations worldwide. In
addition to the full line of Cat products and services we offer in North
and Central Florida, we represent an ever expanding roster of diverse
product lines. Our allied, crane and material handling equipment
business operations span the Southeast U.S., while our temporary
power and temperature control services meet the needs of the

In addition to Cat heavy equipment, Ring Power
sells, leases and rents an extensive inventory of
complementary equipment lines from other leading
manufacturers. Our new and used equipment inventory
includes cranes, construction and paving equipment,
forestry and materials processing equipment, generators,
power modules, cooling and heating units, compressors,
aerial lifts, light towers and material handling machines.
Our rental fleet is comprised of a variety of late model
machines with low usage hours available for immediate
rental. Whether you’re a large contractor, private
business or governmental agency – whatever equipment

Ring Power’s shops are designed to get your equipment or
component repaired and back to you with minimum downtime. All
repairs are performed by our qualified technicians and machinists
for faster turnaround and guaranteed quality control from start to
finish. Our facilities specialize in all aspects of equipment service
and maintenance.
Field Service
Our fleet is comprised of more than 575 field service vehicles, fully
equipped to perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, adjustments and
repairs on-site, at the customer’s location. Our highly skilled, factory
trained technicians are prepared to respond — 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
Parts Support
Our unmatched parts availability within our industry represents
more than a major dollar investment; it reflects an exceptional
understanding of equipment and customer requirements. If you don’t
have time to stop by one of our branch locations, you can also order
new Cat parts online from our PartStore™
. Our parts shuttle trucks
travel over 2,600 miles every night to ensure that — in most cases
