1330 Extended Presentation:
Increasing Your Maintenance Integrity and ROI with ISO55000
ISO55000 is ISO standard for asset management published in 2014. It stipulates
that effective control and governance of assets by organisations is essential to
realize value through managing risk and opportunity, in order to achieve the
desired balance of cost, risk and performance. It is a challenge to industries on
how to address this. This paper is on the issues and challenges of balancing cost,
performance and risk in heavy haul rail asset management. Illustrative example from
heavy haul network is used for this and on how to address some of the challenges of
managing rails.

Why You Cannot Miss This Event:
Asset Integrity and Maintenance Excellence will be a gathering of senior decision
makers and thought leaders in Australia and the region, to address key challenges
and solutions in asset maintenance and management.
The performance of your assets determines the performance of the company.
Increasing asset reliability and integrity leads to higher availability and more
output. Sound maintenance plans reduce costs of unscheduled downtime. And
compliance with regulations ensures you keep your licence to operate. Efficient
asset management can also deter major incidents and accidents at the workplace
including loss of property, life and damage to the environment.
Join marcus evansAsset Integrity and Maintenance Excellence conference
this year and hear industry experts share their experiences and knowledge on key
topics such as Sustainable Asset Management, Equipment Reliability, Cost
Control Strategies, Data and Digitalisation. These practical insights will not only
help improve your asset maintenance capabilities, but also explore strategies and
techniques to extend critical asset life and deliver sustainable business outcomes
within limited resources!

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): How Can RCM Be Efficiently
Implemented on a Brownfield Site?
RCM is often referred to as “Resource Consuming Monster”. This doesn’t need to be
the case.
• How is AGL Hydro using RCM efficiently on brownfield sites?
• How have we determined where to start?
• What equipment should be selected for RCM analysis?
• How are we efficiently completing an RCM analysis of this equipment?
• How are we ensuring that we achieve the benefits of our RCM analysis while
locking these into our future plans?
