1. Slide ADC, points of sales
ACS AV Company proudly presents, the worlds first high resolution slide tray scanner, SLIDE ADC. From now
on regular slides (frame size 50 x 50 mm/ 2”x 2”) can be digitised and stored on the local hard disk. By means of
a picture viewer like ACDSee your slides can be presented in any resolution from 640 x 480 up to 1360 x 1024,
depending upon the file type and compression ratio.
Benefits from this system versus regular slide projectors are:
• Bright and colourful pictures.
• Once focus is set, you have the right focus for every slide, even when slides of
differing thickness and quality are use throughout your presentation.
• No more condensation on slides due to temperature differences.
• No more slides that “click” out of focus due to the low lamp power.
• No more jamming slide projectors, in the relaxed atmosphere of the slide preview
room, problems can easily be corrected before presenting your slides.
• Fast scanning, today we can scan 80 slides within 12 minutes, in the near future we
foresee to scan 80 slides in 2 min. 40 sec.
• High resolution, up to 1360 x 1024.
• Landscape and Portrait slides can be handled, Portrait slides will be resized or lose
12½ % top and bottom.
• After scanning several tools are available to enhance picture visibility (if desired).
• During scanning full control of the camera is possible e.g. white balance, shading,
shutter speed, contrast etc. etc.
• Negatives can also be scanned and presented in Positive way.
• Digitised slides can easily be implemented in your Power Point presentation.
• Standard 12Volt 20Watt domestic lamp is used
• The used camera is a “Medical approved device”
2. • Ideal for large venues and big congresses (when using a LAN)
A typical system consists of:
• SLIDE ADC (actual scanner docked on a process control PC)
• Process control PC
• Two XGA monitors
• Extron interface (if a projector is connected directly on the scanner for life
presentations)
• A projector with a minimal resolution of 1024 x 768 (native) 1280 x 1024 is
recommended
For large venues a system consists of:
• SLIDE ADC (actual scanner docked on a process control PC)
• Process control PC connected to the LAN
• Two XGA monitors
• A PC with ACDSee (one for every room)
• A preview monitor (XGA, one for every room)
• An Extron interface (one for every room)
• A projector with a minimal resolution of 1024 x 768 (native) 1280 x 1024 is
recommended (one for every room)
For both examples a back-up slide projector can be added, however more and more of our clients have faith in this system and don’t rent one
anymore!

Betreft: WebCam versie 11

Zoals jullie misschien al gezien hebben is de WebCam in een nieuw jasje gestoken. Een wirrewar van kabels en
kastjes maakte de voorgaande versies niet echt gebruiks vriendelijk, ook was het moeilijk om in volledig
ingezoomde stand te pannen en tilten. Met de nieuwe behuizing is de software ook opnieuw onderhanden
genomen, enkele veranderingen zijn onder andere joysticks voor pan/ tilt en zoom/ iris/ focus, acht presets. Ook
is de bekabeling gewijzigd, het is in de toekomst mogelijk om de camera instellingen te veranderen zonder dat
dit in beeld zichtbaar is. Momenteel is deze functie alleen mogelijk indien een PC met een Windows besturing
programma is aangesloten. Er wordt gewerkt aan een oplossing voor dit probleem.
5. De totale keten bestaat nu uit een bedieningsconsole, een cameracontrolbox en een camera met pan/ tilt kop. In
de oude situatie was de processor bij de bedieningsunit opgenomen, daardoor liep er meer stroom door de
stuurkabel. In de nieuwe situatie is de processor in de controlbox opgenomen, dientengevolge loopt er minder
stroom door de stuurkabel, waardoor er grotere afstanden kunnen worden overbrugd. Overigens zijn er wensen
om de bedieningsconsole te voorzien van een eigen voeding, waarna het theoretisch mogelijk is om
microfoonkabel te gebruiken als stuurkabel, e.a. is nog in bespreking.
