PERSONAL BRAND EXPLORATION

Project & Portfolio I: Week 1
October 28, 2022
Being born in southern California but never one to have that west coast
mentality, I moved to North Dakota two days after high school graduation.
Attending Jamestown College I studied in the field of psychology, until later
moving further north to Minot, ND. There I completed my associates degree
with Rasmussen College, but then took a break when my son was born.
Now I am in Texas with my husband and son, where I manage the upper
NE portion of the TX Panhandle as a care manager for an in-home health
care agency.
No matter where I have lived or what stage of my career I was in, I have
always been in supportive type roles where my job was to be of benefit to
someone else. Being highly organized and people focused has always been
where I thrive. Being the proverbial, ‘glue for the crew,’ being the one that
others come to for solutions and doing so with grace and respect is my
purpose. My goal is to show that being a leader doesn’t mean you lose your
humanity.

and in play, are led by my empathetic nature.
Just entering a room, I will pause for a breath

successful communication and being able to

days with another message through LinkedIn as that is

  • 2. Being born in southern California but never one to have that west coast mentality, I moved to North Dakota two days after high school graduation. Attending Jamestown College I studied in the field of psychology, until later moving further north to Minot, ND. There I completed my associates degree with Rasmussen College, but then took a break when my son was born. Now I am in Texas with my husband and son, where I manage the upper NE portion of the TX Panhandle as a care manager for an in-home health care agency. No matter where I have lived or what stage of my career I was in, I have always been in supportive type roles where my job was to be of benefit to someone else. Being highly organized and people focused has always been where I thrive. Being the proverbial, ‘glue for the crew,’ being the one that others come to for solutions and doing so with grace and respect is my purpose.
