3. Reporting to the Chairman, responsible for all aspects of HR issues, Learning and
development, succession and retention for all employees. With Overall
responsibility for the HR function within HarperCo and the affiliated group
companies (Circa 50 permanent employees).
As a member of the Senior Management team with overall responsibility for the day
to day running of the business, I very much take pleasure in having a hands on role.
I have assisted with the contract management of Nationwide Clients, taking a
particular focus in performance management.
Key responsibilities include:
• Monitor, track and support absence reviews including reviewing complex
cases.
• Coach Managers through the management of change process.
• Deliver and lead projects as appropriate.
• Plan and develop appropriate CPD for all employees.
• Support organisational change, including TUPE, redundancy and
restructures.
• Providing professional advice and guidance on all employee relations issues

I have lead through various business critical projects. Including our very successful
Grade 2 Ofsted inspection, Matrix accreditation and most recently successfully
lead the group onto the pathway of achieving the prestigious award of Investors

4. With careful review and improved recruitment policies I successfully decreased the
group’s expense costs by 20% in three months and it continues to decrease.
I manage the recruitment and selection of all new Company employees at all levels,
including sourcing strategy; interviewing; reference checking; making offers to
candidates; driving and delivering induction training. Recently recognised by
Investors in People for having an excellent approach to recruitment by using a
variety of methods.
Design and implementation of a company-wide performance management system
that is linked to the core vision and objectives of the business. Provided on-going
consultation to management on performance related issues. This resulted in the
design of a merit increase and salary review system with built in factors such as
salary review budget, company performance, individual performance, market rate of
the job and internal equity to ensure fair and equitable review of salaries within the
business.
Contract Manager (Secondment to Talent Training (UK) LLP – HarperCo
Limited Affiliated Company)
As Contract Manager I provided leadership and direction, managing all resource issues
within the delivery team to ensure key performance indicators are communicated and
implemented for a nationwide Customer Service workforce development program which
included 12 Training Advisors and over 1200 learners. In the prior stages to the contract I
worked with the team responsible for the framework design, content development and
national accreditation of the Ofqual approved NCFE Level 2 Customer Experience in
Logistics qualification. I successfully managed the completion of this program and it
has since gone on to become a recognised qualification accessible to all.
I was responsible for forecasting and managing a cost center budget ensuring financial
targets are achieved by planning and ensuring all training took place on time and as per
the agreed timeline. I ensured the quality of the provision and the customer experience
meets the client’s expectations and complies with contract. Continuously analyzing MIS
data performance to set appropriate staffing levels.
