2004 by the current MD, Philip Whyte.
Our mission is to provide a wide range of
quality manufacturing solutions to

From the production of bespoke jigs and fixtures
to one-off part production, we have the flexibility
and capability to create high-quality parts.
Our team is skilled in the area of jig and fixture
development, with experience across a variety of
industrial applications. This can involve selecting
the most appropriate material or offering design
for manufacture improvements, we take an
application-based approach to all components.
This is to ensure that the parts we produce work
correctly and repeatedly, removing the stress for
the customer.
Although the majority of jigs and fixtures are
produced using our CNC machinery, we utilise a
variety of our machines for bespoke jigs. This can
include laser cutting of acetal panels, folding of
acrylic holders using a line bender or direct part
marking using our fibre laser.

The Laser Company began manufacturing
microfluidic devices in 2012 and have been
producing a variety of chips/discs for several
diagnostic organisations. Utilising our experience
and materials knowledge, we provide expert input
from prototype stage, right through to batch
production for clinical/field trials.
Each microfluidic device produced goes through a
rigorous quality control procedure, from initial
material inspection to final device review, to ensure
that all devices produced are up to our customers
high expectations.
The Laser Company have the capability to CNC
machine microfluidic chips with excellent results
guaranteed. Using quality materials, specialist
tooling, careful programming and our expertise in
machining complex plastic components, we can
produce high quality microfluidic chips.

Laser Cutting (Plastics)
At The Laser Company, we have the ability to
mark/engrave practically all materials. Utilising
two styles of industrial lasers, we can offer a
diverse range of marking applications from
injection moulded medical device bodies to
stainless steel anneal marking. Please see the

The Laser Company have amassed a wealth of
experience using CO2 lasers. With the facility to
laser cut up to 12mm Acrylic/PMMA and the
trained professionals, we can cater for a wide
variety of plastic cutting applications.
