Format – Clarity is King!
Quick guidelines for CV format
1) Be Clear – don’t try to impress by using strange fonts (it’s just hard to read)
2) Make sure your name, contacts and any links are at the top (don’t want them to get missed)
3) Summery or no summery? Up to you, but if you are going to, make sure you’re clearly stating your goals
– what job do you want and why / what career path are you looking to take etc.
4) Career History – As new developers, make sure you use your classroom projects read as commercial
projects.

5) Education and other information
As previously mentioned, quickly have a check your spell-check is in English (UK) and check there are no
errors.
