Summer Project Homework
Your Stop Motion and Summer Project are starting points to help inspire your
Art3 Personal Investigation. You will than have two weeks to plan, organize and
hold your Summer Project exhibition in the Autumn term.
Task Details Done
1. Front Cover

• Include your full name, A2 Photography: ART3 Personal
Investigation
2. Introduction • Leave your first page BLANK initially – you will include
your ART3 introduction later in the year.
3. Genres of
Photography
• Complete handout from moodle and include in your
sketchbook
4. Stop Motion You should create a group and individual stop motion.
Include the following in your sketchbook:
a) Artist Research of inspiring stop motions. Similar in
theme, concept or genre.
b) Print your best 4 images from a kiosk and reflect
c) Upload your final video onto a blog/youtube and
include screengrab of this in your sketchbook (with
the url clearly visible).
d) Include a DVD of your final stop motions copy in your
sketchbook.
Remember the stop motion is meant to be fun and creative!
5. Summer
Project
Your Summer project should be based on a particular genre
of photography or personal starting point that will help to
inform your Art3 Personal Investigation.
a) Summer Project introduction, what you are doing and
why. Which genre of photography have you
investigated? (refer to genres handout)
b) Include artist research that links to your work.
c) 6-10 final images printed in your sketchbook.
d) Exhibition – plan and organise an exhibition for your
summer project, it could be in a coffee shop/home/art
gallery.
e) In your sketchbook include an image from your
exhibition and people viewing your work.
f) Evaluation
