2. The Venue
TheParador de Nerjais anideal conference venueinthe south of Spain, offering exceptional conference facilities as
well as stunningviews, all inthe traditional Spanish town of Nerja, whichhas a rangeof excursions available for

3. TheConference
Theconferenceroom is air-conditioned and easy to locate within the hotel. All delegates havethe chanceto network
during free time, group meal times, excursions, theposter session and of course, the Gala Night. Stewart, our AV
TechnicianIs at the front of the room, readyto wire up thenext speaker as the preceding talk finishes. TheZing Staff
are onsite at all times to assist delegates inanywaypossible.
4. Poster Session
Eachconferencehas a poster sessionwhichthestudents really
look forwardto, to sharetheirworkwiththeirpeers.We
usually advertisea poster prize,eitherfrom a sponsor or a cash
prizefrom the budget. The winneristhen selectedby the
chairs and awardedat the GalaNight. Photographed (right) is

5. GalaNight
The Gala Night is on the final night of the conference.We had
Spanish Guitarists performingthroughout the eveningfor our
2014meetingsin Nerja.An entirelydifferentand deliciousmenu
is organised for the Gala Night, that along withthe
entertainmentcreatesa greatatmospherefor people to network,
ina fun & relaxedenvironment.
6. Excursions
Frigiliana Village Tour -Frigiliana is made up of
picturesque narrow, windy streets, with decorative
cobbled lanes. Attractions here includethe Molasses
factory, Churchof San Antonio and the Moorish castle.
Thearea is also knownfor it’s local sweet wine or “vino
deFrigiliana”.
Nerja Caves and Old Town Walking Tour -The
“Cuevas de Nerja” are located about 4 kilometres east of
the town. This tour provides anin-depth view of this
lovely town andits main attractions, all hosted with a
private official English SpeakingGuide.
7. Town ofNerja
Nerja, on the Costa del Sol, is a
beautiful resort of sandy coves
sheltered by the impressive Sierra de
Almijara mountains andoften referred
toas 'The Jewel ofthe Costa del Sol'.
A temperate climate means that Nerjais a great
place to visit at anytime of year.InFebruary
2014it was around 17ºC.
Nerja is located 53kilometres east of Málaga on
the Costa del Sol and can bereached in about 40
minutes bycar from Málaga airport.
