Axa Assurance Maroc - Insurer Innovation Award 2024
Evaluation 6
1. What have you learnt about technologies from eh process of constructing the product?
There was many different aspects of media that was new to me , for instance I have learnt to be
proficient in blogging as this was something that I was not familiar with, I had learnt new skills in
editing on various different platforms and have been able to keep these skills in future for
references.
Some of the software I had used for editing was final cut which was on the apple products that we
had used throughout the year, but when the mac suites were not available I had downloaded a piece
of software called video pad editor which was available only on the windows platform. It took me
some time adjusting to the two types of interfaces as some features were only available on certain
platforms.
The lack of computing knowledge did hinder my performance on the apple products as they are very
different to use compared to the more common windows user interface therefore I did encounter
some technical difficulties when I was using the MacBook and the iMac
There was many shots within the two minute opening that was very good and looked up to a good
standard but the office scene seems to be my favourite as it looked very professional and the
camera angles seem to be smooth and the transition to the other shots also seemed to fit in and not
look out of place or contain to much dead space.
2. Even though the overall performance of the film opening was good there was some issues with the
sound but I us that was because of the technical problems we faced early on. Other than that we
were able to edit the majority of the film to a good standard.
Timing was one of the major problems we had which lead to being disorganised in some cases for
the scene, I think because of this reason we could not be as creative as we could’ve if we were about
more organised in some of the scenes.
