I joined Europeana 1 April 2014 as Creative Industries Community Developer. More details soon! I left Kew in July 2013 having taken voluntary redundancy. Since then I have been expanding my knowledge and enhancing my skills, especially around prototyping, APIs and cultural heritage content. A few protypes I've worked on include gathr.it and culturepics.org. I've also been working on a new concept in charity fundraising - www.apennypermile.com - through which I raised nearly £6,000 for Prostate Cancer UK, cycling 5,000 miles Jan-Aug 2013.
