panels ,capacitor banks and other switchyard accessories.
2)worked for tendering of 132 kv switchyard in upcoming project or BARC in Vishakapatnam,Checking the
vendor equipments specifications of transformer,Current and potential transformers,circuit breakers of SF6
and vaccum,Neutral grounding resistors ,chemical earthing pits,panels ,capacitor banks,lighting fixtures.
Extracting the quantity of GI rods ,earthing strips, ACSR conductors, ISMC Steel structures ..etc.
3)CAIRN ENERGY INDIA LTD:
Worked for the tendering project of oil refinery plant in Rajasthan, consist of GIS and 33kv and 11kv
switchgears and transformers ,cabling and UPS.

structuring drawings preparation and approval from the CEIG for Johnson and Johnson project
2. Preparing the outdoor & indoor switch yard layout for 132kv ,33kv substation & 11kv
substations.sizing of indoor & outdoor breakers, relay panels ,lightning arrestors, foundation
details for the transformers, poles ,breakers, panels.
3. Sizing of Transformers ,NGR ,HT Panels ,HT breakers & HT cables ,RTCC panels, PV module
selection, array size , string & DC cable sizing, Invertors sizing DC load calculation.
4. Designing of Four, Three & two pole structure for outdoor substations. Preparing substation
layouts & trench layouts.
5. Designing of Single line diagrams, meeting the various requirements of the Electrical system
and also as per the specification guidelines.
6. Designing of RMU, Metering equipment’s consisting Tri vector meters, CT & PT classes and
burden’s. Relays suitable closing of breakers during fault conditions.

3. 7. Designing the PLC panels for substation equipments (i.e Transformers ,MV & LT panels
,capacitor banks ) automation. designing control cable for the PLC O/P & I/P from the panel
breakers .checking the architecture diagram for PLC system. preparing the control cable
schedule for substations.
8. Preparing the battery sizing calculation for the battery back up power in the substations by
calculating the breakers spring charge motor, tripping coil, closing coil momentary peak load
factors.providing power pack in the panels.
9. Choosing the cable sizes as per the required load after derating factor & as per short circuit
capacity., voltage drop calculations.
10. Sizing the UPS as per the require load, designing the UPS output panels with double neutral
busbars to avoid overheating due to the harmonics, choosing the double sized phase cables for
neutral, sizing the sure arrestor in the panels . Choosing the cable sizes as per the required
load after derating factor & as per short circuit capacity., voltage drop
11. Designing of Bus bar sizes & Rising main bus bars sizes as per the required load & voltage
drop ,short circuit calculations. preparing the layouts for bus bars arrangement & fixing
details.from transformer to panels & raising mains in the shafts.
12. Supporting the tendering team for quantity extractions. for steel ,light fixtures sockets, cables,
breakers ,dry type transformers ,metering equipments, wiring quantities.
13. Design of lighting for the whole building or factory using IS specified lux levels or as per the
specifications. using CG LUX & DIALUX software for finding the required light fixtures in
room /hall as per the required lux levels. preparing lighting layouts.
14. Support for HVAC by choosing the power and control cable sizes ,Earthing strips for the
AHU,CHILLERS ,CSU & motors.
15. Designing the Lighting protection system for various type of Buildings as per IS standards.
16. Designing of Earthing systems for all the equipments in the buildings as per the IS standards
calculating the earthing strip and cables as per the short circuiting capacity of panels
,specialized for UPS , labs, Electronic earthing. Preparing the Earthing schematic for the
electrical system consisting Tripod earthing ,dedicative UPS earthing.
17. Designing of cable tray layouts and routing cable's, calculating the required size of cable trays.
18. Ordering for the manufacturing LV panels & approving the vendor drawings .
19. Design the lv systems fire alarm, arrangement of audio system wiring & TV wiring, lv s in the
hotels using the basic concept from client/consultant.
