FROM 277th FRSA: The Gates are OPEN!!!
Beginning Monday January 30 two additional gates on post will open
during morning hours to give motorist alternate access to the instal-
lation and air field and help relieve morning traffic congestion.
The Nash gate on NYS Route 26 across from the Wheeler-Sack Army
Airfield and the gate at Munns Corners and NYS Route 3a in Deferiet
will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday to De-
partment of Defense ID cards holders only.
The opening of the Nash gate is expected to ease traffic along NYS
Route 26 in Great Bend. The gate in Deferiet will provide an alternate
route to the airfield. These gates will not be open during the week-
ends or holidays.
The other six access gates will remain unchanged.
2. THOUGHTS TO CONSIDER !!!
PAGE 2 FRSA FLASH
Strength is developed through difficulty. How amazing it is that we avoid difficulty. We run from ob-
stacles. We absolutely despise going through obstacles that stand in our way. Yet, these difficulties
are used to develop the fortitude and abilities that have not been realized in our lives.
B. C. Forbes was a man who learned the value of overcoming obstacles. He was the founder of
Forbes magazine. Forbes was also a business and financial writer. He wrote articles that encour-
aged people to press forward through difficult circumstances. One of his quotes reveals his ability to
motivate others to press toward victorious living.
"History has demonstrated that the most notable winners usually encountered heartbreaking obsta-
cles before they triumphed. They finally won because they refused to become discouraged by their
defeats. Disappointments acted as a challenge. Don't let difficulties discourage you."
Overcome the difficulty you are facing. Refuse to be discouraged. Gain new strength as you run
through the obstacle standing in your path. Watch your hidden abilities arise in the midst of the situa-
tion you despise. You were born to win. Let this be your defining moment for breaking into a new
place of victory in your life!

Capt. Jordan Walerstein

and certified Soldiers, the TAC will prepare and electronically file your federal and state in-

The TAC staff also is equipped to prepare 2010 returns for Soldiers returning from deployment
who were not able to file last year.
Located on South Post at the corner of Lewis and Conway / First Street West in Bldg. T-120
