4. I designed it to appeal to teenagers and young adults who listen to indie style music.
5. The purpose of the magazine is to update my target audience with the latest bands and artists in the type of music they like.
6. This is one of the reasons that I chose âRevolutionâ as the name of my magazine as it shows people the newest and revolutionary music that is coming out at the moment.
7.
8. This fits well with my audience as teenagers and young adults can be seen as more rebellious and breaking the rules.
9. Another purpose of the magazine is to give people and inside look on the music scene and let the fans get to know the artists.
10.
11. The layout is based on professional magazines that we researched and analysed in our preliminary stages. Most real magazines have similar features to what my magazine consists of.
12.
13. There are a lot of connotations for this audience. These are things such as rebellious, breaking the rules, stylish, etc.
14. If the theme of the magazine was too nice and clean, it would not appeal to my target audience. So I had to make sure it had a more edgy look to it.
15.
16. This is because a large number of my target audience shop in news agents and supermarkets and it means that my magazine is accessible to most people.
17. Another good place to sell my product would be online as a lot of teenagers and young adults spend time on the internet and I could advertise on social networking sites such as Facebook.
18.
19.
20. If I worded it like this my audience would not be inspired to buy the magazine so the font of my title and the way itâs laid out is to attract this type of person
21.
22. âI thought that itâs a good magazine because it appeals well to teenagers and gives good information about indie music, itâs not my favourite type of music but it still was alright to read.â
23.
24. Also I hadnât done much work with cameraâs before but I learnt how to take better shots and how to use them more effectively on my product
