Swing I swing,
Up and down,
the beat of my heart,
the rythm the sound
I breath in and out,
My heart in an ache,
so full of doubt,
it quivers a quake
Swing I swing,
The wood and rope creek,
The cold air brushes-
Across my cheek
So cold, and so naked,
I am so alone,
Just me and the swing,
And the frost in my bone
Swing I Swing,
It is all so still,
except for me-

2. and the winters chill
The abrasive seat
Of the swinging swing,
Carries me back,
and in with a sting
Swing I swing,
It is you I miss,
Your soft wet lips-
I long to kiss
Swing I swing
Gently I cry,
I long for your touch,
Don't leave me to die
Oh My fingers so frozen-
Oh My eyes so wide open-
My short quiet breath- breathes in the chill,
My body shakes,
For a warm embrace,
But I just swing- swinging still
I touch the water,
Below my soul,

Against the cold-
Water's friends
Drowning now,
But I don't care,
The water colder-
Than winter air
Above the surface
I see you now!
Dismounting your horse
With sweating brow,

but 'tis here I die!

4. I ceased the waiting,
Though I promised to not,
I knew you'd come back,
Then I simply forgot!
