Jill Tillis presented at the Flagler Technology Expo on June 11, 2013 about integrating STEM subjects in K-6 classrooms using Common Core standards and research on future job skills. She discussed models of STEM education in action, focusing on inquiry-based, project-based, and flipped classroom approaches. Resources were provided on STEM integration including the Journal of STEM Education, technology standards, and websites for 3D modeling programs, math videos, and examples of STEM programs in schools.
