He meets with private organizations, reviews presentations, and conducts due diligence to determine where and when to invest. As an executive in residence, JR Ahn also assists with portfolio strategy, including the evaluation of opportunities in platform and infrastructure services. Prior to his position at Sutter Hill, JR Ahn served as senior vice president and executive committee member at EMC Corporation, located in Santa Clara, California.
