was to take care of the machines and find out issue if any in advance in order to reduce

additional sales while reducing waste and lost products, resulting in increased

working of the Machine, breakdown is normal for a CNC Machine but with proper care
and little extra Support it never lets you down. I also had to do presentations to explain
the Pros and Cons of our machine and the process of cutting to the interested Machine
buyers, as this machine was not that familiar to the Indian industries. A person from the
machine operating environment can help a lot the new Interested Machine buyers; So in
addition to this I was also the in charge of Our Demo Centre at Okhla Industrial Area,
New Delhi, where we had a Live Demo Machine Installed, of which I was the

responsible for the maintenance and the job works carried out. I had to prepare the
Drawings for cutting in Omax/Maxiem Layout or AutoCAD and had to create the tool
path and hand over the prepared Omax Routed Data file i.e., the machine cutting path file
to the operator and help him in cutting the file if in case it’s a complex drawing.

Project Details:
Title: Incorporation of turbocharger in a two stroke SI engine
Field: Automotive
Description:
To meet the never ending needs of the automobiles for better power
without compromising the Fuel efficiency, the project aims at achieving the same
by incorporating a turbocharger in Two-Stroke SI Engine.
In this project we had introduced a turbine to the exhaust port of the
engine possessing a common shaft with a compressor installed on its other end.
Using the Kinetic Energy of the Exhaust Gas from engine the turbine rotates; the
compressor also rotates at the same speed of turbine as they are linked using a
common shaft and as the compressor rotates it sucks in the atmospheric air into
the volute casing where it gets compressed to a little higher pressure than the
atmospheric pressure, and this pressurized air is fed into the combustion chamber
using a plastic pipe.
As the Pressure increases the volume decreases, but mass remains the
same so density of Air molecules inside the combustion chamber also increases,
so more Oxygen particles will be available inside the Combustion chamber which
promotes complete combustion of fuel, thus an increase in the power output of the
engine from the exhausted unburnt fuel molecules in case of a normal engine, So
an increase in Power output has been achieved by using the kinetic energy of
exhaust gas, without compromising the fuel efficiency.
