• Dr. Ali Anani used coal as an analogy for distinguishing
between ‘self-igniting’ or ‘low quality’ performance in
organisations, in his Slideshare presentation entitled
‘Marketing and Performance Multiplier Force’
• His questioning whether we ‘ventilate a room while
allowing polluted air to move in’ led the inspiration for an
alternative view, which is aligned with perceived needs
for breaths of fresh air and branches.
• Images on slides 3 to 6 are digitally adapted screenshots
from news reports. All other images are my own work.
