                               Euro Social Network
General Overview of Project

The EURO SOCIAL Network intervention aims to promote on a transnational level the experience
on the public/private management of health and social services and education in the Province of
Florence, and transfer good practices to other European countries. Since in
some territories (Sweden, Spain, Bulgaria) a shift to private sector management of
particular services (serviced residences, home care, child care, child protection,etc..) cannot be
seen yet, the social cooperatives’ experience and the third sector activities in general could
represent an element of high value innovation.
EuroSocialNetwork will also be the basis for the development of a social enterprise
model shared with transnational partners, to be promoted in Europe through a partnership with
the international cooperative associations.

General Overview of Project The EURO SOCIAL Network intervention aims to promote on a transnational level the experience on the public/private management of health and social services and education in the Province of Florence, and transfer good practices to other European countries. Since in some territories (Sweden, Spain, Bulgaria) a shift to private sector management of particular services (serviced residences, home care, child care, child protection,etc..) cannot be seen yet, the social cooperatives’ experience and the third sector activities in general could represent an element of high value innovation. EuroSocialNetwork will also be the basis for the development of a social enterprise model shared with transnational partners, to be promoted in Europe through a partnership with the international cooperative associations.
