Listening 2.1 Eid Al-Fitr Nowadays, we are celebrating Eid Al-Fitr. Muslim people celebrate “Eid Al-Fitr” after Ramadan and it falls on the first day of Shawwal. And the date changes every year. In Ramadan some of the Muslims have a strict fast, we don’t eat or drink anything during the day time and the fast lasts 30 days and after that we celebrate “Eid Al-Fitr” for three days. We visit our parents and relatives. Also elderly people give some Money to the children. Also children visit the houses and collect some candies and chocolate. Listening 2.2 Maddona Del Conforto Every year in Arezzo, people celebrate Maddona Del Conforto in 15th February. They got to the Cathedral to pray. They also visit the Chapel inside the Cathedral where the small image of Maddona Del Conforto is kept. Before they get into the Cathedral, people buy candles and the pray. There is a legend about the image of Maddona Del Conforto. It says in 18th century, there were some earthquakes in Arezzo. The image was in a tavern, it was dark and dirty.
