1. Question 6. What have you learnt
about technologies from the process
of constructing this process?
2. Throughout, the planning and production of our media product, we have had to use a
variety of technology such as, DSLR cameras, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign,
blogger etcetera.
In the planning stages we were firstly introduced to ‘Blogger’ of which I had not come
across before. From this I learnt skills such as, embedding YouTube clips, documents
and also power points/Prezzi’s onto my blog. Blogger is a crucial part throughout all the
stages of the planning and designing of my media product as it enables you to use to
present work using a range and variety of multimedia within your blog and enables you
to represent it clearly and coherently. This way of presenting work has also enabled me
to create an interactive ad clever way of presenting work such as, the evaluation and
keep track of the different stages and what I have learnt.
3. Photoshop
• Other technologies such as, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign were probably
the most important, mainly for the production aspect of the media product
although, important in the planning stages of design. With both these
software's there are different tools that do certain things to an image, photo,
text ect. In Photoshop, I learnt many skills and tools such as, the ‘Spot
Healing Brush’ which allows you to remove any area of an image you don’t
want, this is a key tool used at it allows you to almost beautify an image
which Is effective especially on the photo for the front cover.
4. • Other tools on this software include the ‘Blur Tool’ this tool allows you to blur
sections of large areas of a image or photograph such as, the background
of an image. This tool isn’t as useful as the ‘Spot Healing Brush’ but is
useful if the background of an image is for example to distracting from the
main focus. Other, tools such as, the ‘Quick Selection Tool’ are also useful if
you want to remove sections of an image or photo for example removing the
background of an image and replacing it with a white background.
5. InDesign DSLR Cameras

important.
