refers to brand personification. It is the set
of human traits/characteristics assigned to
the brand. A brand personality comes
into existence when human-like adjectives
like unique, caring, funny, trustworthy,
creative, straightforward, dishonest, rebel,
etc.
A personal brand is the sum of your strengths
and characteristics that are unique to you as
an expert in your field.

consistently reinforcing who you are and what
you stand for in your career and life.

Jennifer Aaker combined these set of
adjectives into five core dimensions. These
are:
• Sincerity
• Excitement
• Ruggedness
• Sophistication

traits) you want to “own” when somebody
thinks about your brand.
• The adjectives (traits) you choose will fall
under one of these five personality
dimensions. For example, daring or
adventurous go underexcitement. Charming
