SUMMER TRAINING PROJECT REPORT
On
Introduction
 The job satisfaction level refers to an employee's
overall positive attitude and feelings towards a job.
According to the Chartered Institute of Personal
Development, almost one in four workers are looking
to leave their jobs due to a low job satisfaction level.
Company Profile
Origins Advertising Private Limited is a Private incorporated
on 24 March 2000. It is classified as Non-govt company
and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Kanpur. Its
authorized share capital is Rs. 100,000,000 and its paid up
capital is Rs. 60,000,000. It is inolved in Advertising.
Objectives of the Study
 To study the working environment in Origins Advertising
Private Limited, Lucknow.
 To study the relationship between employee and
management at Origins Advertising Private Limited,
Lucknow
 To study the satisfaction level towards the medical
facilities provided by Origins Advertising Private
Limited, Lucknow
 To study the level of satisfaction among of employees
relating to the nature of the job and other factors
Research Methodology
DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH:
The research undertaken was a descriptive research as it was concerned with specific
predictions, with narration of facts and characteristics concerning a study on Job
satisfaction of employees working in Origins Advertising Private Limited Lucknow.
METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION. I have used questionnaires(Primary) and Internet
source (Secondary) for data Collection
DATA SOURCE
There were two types of data sources used in this research. These were
UNIVERSE OF STUDY: universe of the study means all the employees of Origins
Advertising Private Limited in Lucknow.
SAMPLE AREA: Origins Advertising Private Limited, Lucknow.
Sample type
I have used Random sample for study.
Sample size:. An effort was made to select respondents evenly. The survey was
carried out on 100 respondents.
Sample unit: Employees of Origins Advertising Private Limited Lucknow
Limitations of the study
 1. The study is limited to the Corporate HR Origins Advertising Private
Limited Ltd. So the study
is subject to the limitation of area.
 2. The time period of the study was limited which may provide a
deceptive
picture in comparison of the study based on long run.
 3. Sampling size was of only 100, because only these people had
attended
soft skill development training.
 4. The study is based only on secondary & primary data so lack of
keen
observations and interactions were also the limiting factors in the
proper
conclusion of the study.
FINDINGS
 Total number of respondents is 100 out of which30% are male and 70%
are female respondents. Hence we can say that the majority of our
respondents are Female.
 From survey we come to know that most of the employees are Somewhat
disagree and least of the employees are somewhat agree.
 From survey come to know that majority of employees are somewhat
dissatisfied and least of the employees are somewhat dissatisfied towards
the salary.
 From survey come to know that the working condition of the organization is
satisfied because 42% of the employees are satisfied and only 34% are
dissatisfied and completely dissatisfied.
 Most of the people are not happy with the Origins Advertising Private
Limited for Bright future in terms of time.
SUGGESTIONS
 There should be even work distribution. At Consultancy, the
work was sometimes too less and distributed among many
recruiters thereby leading to confusion and a hindrance in
target accomplishment
 The recruiters are asked to be in the office at their seats from 9
to 6. They are not even allowed to go out for a stroll in the
break time. This is detrimental to the health since they are
sitting in front of the computer screens all the time.
 During the break, I used to switch off my computer to help save
electricity. But surprisingly, my team leader asked me never to
shut the computer. She never gave me any reason and I think
we should do our bit for preserving environment.
CONCLUSION
 In conclusion it can be said that employees are less satisfied with the
communication with their superiors. They are less satisfied with their interest
of job. They are less satisfied with holidays provided to them. They are also
less satisfied with their working hour of their job. Employees are not so
much satisfy with their training and development program provided to
them. They are less satisfied with the authority and responsibility given to
them. Employees are less satisfied with the safety measures used in the
organization. They are also less satisfied with the co-operation from co-
workers. They are also less satisfied with the action taken by their seniors
for employee grievances. Employees are not less satisfied with their reward
and recognition system. Employees are not so much less satisfied with their
salary. They are also not much less satisfied with their workplace and
promotion policy.

  • 2. Introduction  The job satisfaction level refers to an employee's overall positive attitude and feelings towards a job. According to the Chartered Institute of Personal Development, almost one in four workers are looking to leave their jobs due to a low job satisfaction level.
  • 3. Company Profile Origins Advertising Private Limited is a Private incorporated on 24 March 2000. It is classified as Non-govt company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Kanpur. Its authorized share capital is Rs. 100,000,000 and its paid up capital is Rs. 60,000,000. It is inolved in Advertising.
  • 4. Objectives of the Study  To study the working environment in Origins Advertising Private Limited, Lucknow.  To study the relationship between employee and management at Origins Advertising Private Limited, Lucknow  To study the satisfaction level towards the medical facilities provided by Origins Advertising Private Limited, Lucknow  To study the level of satisfaction among of employees relating to the nature of the job and other factors
  • 5. Research Methodology DESCRIPTIVE RESEARCH: The research undertaken was a descriptive research as it was concerned with specific predictions, with narration of facts and characteristics concerning a study on Job satisfaction of employees working in Origins Advertising Private Limited Lucknow. METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION. I have used questionnaires(Primary) and Internet source (Secondary) for data Collection DATA SOURCE There were two types of data sources used in this research. These were UNIVERSE OF STUDY: universe of the study means all the employees of Origins Advertising Private Limited in Lucknow. SAMPLE AREA: Origins Advertising Private Limited, Lucknow. Sample type I have used Random sample for study. Sample size:. An effort was made to select respondents evenly. The survey was carried out on 100 respondents. Sample unit: Employees of Origins Advertising Private Limited Lucknow
  • 6. Limitations of the study  1. The study is limited to the Corporate HR Origins Advertising Private Limited Ltd. So the study is subject to the limitation of area.  2. The time period of the study was limited which may provide a deceptive picture in comparison of the study based on long run.  3. Sampling size was of only 100, because only these people had attended soft skill development training.  4. The study is based only on secondary & primary data so lack of keen observations and interactions were also the limiting factors in the proper conclusion of the study.
  • 7. FINDINGS  Total number of respondents is 100 out of which30% are male and 70% are female respondents. Hence we can say that the majority of our respondents are Female.  From survey we come to know that most of the employees are Somewhat disagree and least of the employees are somewhat agree.  From survey come to know that majority of employees are somewhat dissatisfied and least of the employees are somewhat dissatisfied towards the salary.  From survey come to know that the working condition of the organization is satisfied because 42% of the employees are satisfied and only 34% are dissatisfied and completely dissatisfied.  Most of the people are not happy with the Origins Advertising Private Limited for Bright future in terms of time.
  • 8. SUGGESTIONS  There should be even work distribution. At Consultancy, the work was sometimes too less and distributed among many recruiters thereby leading to confusion and a hindrance in target accomplishment  The recruiters are asked to be in the office at their seats from 9 to 6. They are not even allowed to go out for a stroll in the break time. This is detrimental to the health since they are sitting in front of the computer screens all the time.  During the break, I used to switch off my computer to help save electricity. But surprisingly, my team leader asked me never to shut the computer. She never gave me any reason and I think we should do our bit for preserving environment.
  • 9. CONCLUSION  In conclusion it can be said that employees are less satisfied with the communication with their superiors. They are less satisfied with their interest of job. They are less satisfied with holidays provided to them. They are also less satisfied with their working hour of their job. Employees are not so much satisfy with their training and development program provided to them. They are less satisfied with the authority and responsibility given to them. Employees are less satisfied with the safety measures used in the organization. They are also less satisfied with the co-operation from co- workers. They are also less satisfied with the action taken by their seniors for employee grievances. Employees are not less satisfied with their reward and recognition system. Employees are not so much less satisfied with their salary. They are also not much less satisfied with their workplace and promotion policy.
