A. Students’ Attitude
Based on the statement of Mrs. Janet Canete,a Grade 10-Beryl adviser
in a virtual conference, two out of six male students who dropped had
lost the desire to accomplish learning activities because they were
hooked to playing ML and other online games.

B. Parents’ Attitude
Two parents of Grade 10-Jade students do not respond to several
invitations of Miss Grace Lebin for a parent-teacher conference .
One parent from Hinalinan,Dingle confessed to the class adviser that
he is not able to create a home learning environment because of their
poor situation. Aside from that, he is not capable to act as learning
facilitator because he could not even read and understand simple story.

As a result of the home visitation made by Mrs. Primrose Fabula 1
student from Grade 10-Ruby confided that he has poor internet
connectivity access to surf classroom related activities. More so, he cannot
sustain to pay for the load.

D. Teachers’ Attitude
3 out of five teachers in Grade-10 admitted that they were hesitant to
conduct home visitation because they were afraid of COVID-19
contamination
2 teachers were not able to provide enhancement activities to their
students because most of their time were spent to preparing,sorting and
distribution of modules

The giving of technical assistance to teachers with learners who dropped
was not done regularly because the emphasis was on school financing,
cyber security for online education, safety of school reopening, and
emotional and mental health of teachers and learners.

Based on the inventory report presented, three out of five teachers in
Grade -10 need printer to reproduce learning activities and other support
learning materials.

The partnership with the barangay officials in the distribution of
modules in some feeder barangays were not sustained because of local
restrictions, IATF requirements and overlapping of responsibilities with the
barangay.

Based on the observation of the School Head, three out five teachers
from Grade-10 utilize learner materials which are not validated by
responsible authorities and not aligned with the MELCs

PROPOSED INTERVENTION
• Conduct of SLAC and regular conference with teachers with the focus
on teaching pedagogies
• Teachers maximize personal gadgets like pre/post- paid cellular phone,
band with and connectivity to reach out learners’ concerns thru various
platforms like video call, fb messenger, google meet and other
technological-based instructions.
• Provision of simplified/contextualized learning activities
• Utilize various educational innovations to cater the needs of struggling
learners.
