- Focus on a great prototype. People will be polite to you sketches, but they’ll get truly enthusiastic when you have a real product. Greases the skids. The idea may be “real” to you as a drawing, but people other than you HAVE TO SEE it.
- I learned the development of the packaging, ship box can be as involved and expensive as developing the product
- Length + Girth?
- Don’t skimp on photo’s! Get a professional, professional lighting. People are buying based on the pictures alone.
- Do a pre-sale! Then go to manufacturing. Break even is the goal. Base your price on your most expensive, low volume manufacturing cost.
