inSLoc 100 whichwouldbe storage forraw material.

12. Part 4
In thisscreenwe see thatwe onlyhave 7 casesof NRG-A withmanyPlannedorders. We will be selecting
one of these tocarry throughwithproductionlater.
13. We have nowchangeda plannedorderintoa productionorder.Thisisnow inthe processof being
made. Keepinmindwe still needtomake the dough. The doughhasgone throughthe same stepsso
the bars can be made.
14. Here we have a collectivedisplayandwe seemtonothave enoughproductinstock to meetwith
demandbylookingatthe red trafficlights.
15. We mustcarry outthe productionof a plannedorder.Previouslywe have made the doughinthe same
order. Here we are issuingthe 500lb doughto be sentto the Bakeline tobe turnedinto 7 boxesof bars.
20. Part 6
We have receivedthe okayhere toincrease the creditlimitfor HealthExpressfrom$1,000 USD to
$2,500 USD. Theynow have a little more credittospendonour boxesbefore hittingthe spendinglimit
we setfor them. Alsoasseentheyare usinga little of theircreditalready$590 to be exact23.6% of
theircreditlimit.
21. Part 7
You have justattendedanSOPmeetingandithas beendecidedthatour“bestguess”salesforecastfor
our NRG productgroup isas follows:
January - 25 cases
February - 35 cases
March - 15 cases
It has beendecidedthatwe will create aproductionplanthatisSYNCHRONOUSWITH DEMAND.
Calculate andexplainhowthe IndReqforbothNRG-A andNRG-Bwill be calculatedforeachof the next
3 months.
So we start withthe orderingthroughourproduct group“38 NRG Group” thisgroupplansproduction
for 70% NRG-A boxesand30% NRG-Bboxes.
January:NRG-A:25*70%=17.5, Rounded to18. NRG-B:25*30%=7.5 roundedto8.
February:NRG-A:35*70%=24.5 Roundedto25. NRG-B:35*30%=10.5 roundedto 11.
March: NRG-A:15*70%=10.5 Roundedto11. NRG-B:15*30%=4.5 roundedto5.
These calculationswill be sentthroughSAPandproductionforthese amountswillbe startedforeachof
the months. Theyare roundedupbecause we shouldn’tbe makinghalf boxesandit’sbettertocarry
stock thanto stock out.
22. Part 8
Here we put the rough cut inmotionfromthe SOP meetingstatedinPart7. So we have salesequal to
25, 35 and 15 whensynchronizingitwithsalesitstateswe mustproduce the same amountas we sell.In
othercases,if we had safetystockwe wouldbe lookingatdifferentnumberstomeetbothsafetystock
and saleswithproduction.Butinthiscase we mustonlymeetsales.
23. Part 9
Aftertransferringthe plantothe individualproductsthe stock/requirementlistchangestomeetwith
the demandwe entered.Aspreviouslystatedwe wouldbe making18inJanuary,25 in Februaryand11
inMarch. It isnow statingthese asIndependentrequirementsandmustbe made to meetsales. Since
some of these ordersare so big ourbatchesof 7 won’tmeetwhatwe need.Sowe will have ourplanned
ordersgo up by7 to meetwithourdemand.
24. As statedabove we have putout that we need8 inJanuary,11 in Februaryand5 inMarch. It isnow
statingwhatwe will be takingandsince we have such a large stock of NRG-B we have no needtocreate
more boxesof themrightnow.
25. Part 10
AfterrunningMRP we are presentedwiththisscreen. He itsayswhatwe have changedfrompreviously
setplannedordersanddependentrequirements.We have changedourdemandfromapreviously
made rough cut so itdeletedorderswe didn’tneedandchangedsome tomeetwiththe demandwe
nowcurrentlyhave.
26. Part 11
Nowthat we have made a newrough cut demandhasbeenchangedandwe now mustmeetournew
IndependentRequirements.This being18,25 and11 forNRG-A.MRP has made it so we have make a
certainamountof batchesof 7 to meetwithwhatwe need.Atthe start we didn’tneedanystockso
MRP didn’tsetup any ordersbutafterwardswe needed15more boxesMRP made 3 ordersandso on
withall of the otherorders.Batcheswon’tbe made inquantitiessmallerorgreaterthan7.
27. AfterrunningMRP itsaw that we didn’thave toorderany material soit isjustsettingoutindependent
requirementsforNRG-B.Notmuchhas changedsince oursupplyisworkingjustfine atthe moment.
28. Part 12
Nowthat we have more supplythe lightsare now green. We now meetsupplywe needto provide for
our plannedorder, anddonot have to worryas we did inthe last picture of thispostedwhichwe di d
not have enoughsupplytomeetwithournextplannedorder.
