A dedicated Hall for topics pertaining to IUI on all the meeting days
aims to make an update on the topic of “Intrauterine Insemination”,
bringing together many world experts in this field of Assisted
Reproduction. The scientific deliberations will cover all aspects
related to IUI: Waiting time after Intrauterine Inseminations: What do
we know?, Sperm preparation protocols for IUI, Is IVF-ET better
than IUI as an initial therapy for unexplained infertility?, IUI vs
diagnostic laparoscopy in patients with unexplained infertility, Luteal
phase support following IUI cycles, IVF or IUI should be the first line
treatment for unexplained infertility?, Effect of Intrauterine
Insemination methodology on success rates, Clomiphene Citrate
4. versus Letrozole in IUI, Can Gynecologists do bench-top IUI
preparations without a CO2 incubator? and The dos and don'ts of
the IUI Laboratory.
The main Meeting at the Heritance Ahungalla, South Sri Lanka, will
have two halls running simultaneously; in one all aspects of
Intrauterine Insemination will be discussed threadbare & in the
other hall, the focus will be exclusively on Embryo Transfer & its
role in Assisted Conception. The main objective of this Meeting is to
give an updated overview on all aspects of Intrauterine
Insemination (IUI) & Embryo Transfer (ET). Emphasis will be given
on interactive discussions between participants and experts on
practical issues of the subjects under discussion. The target
audience of this meeting is the Clinicians, Laboratory people,
Nurses, Coordinators & other related persons working in the field of
Assisted Reproduction & Intrauterine Insemination.
I can bet my last dirham that someone who steps foot into
Ahungalla for the first time will skip a heart-beat! The first time I saw
the blue whales in the wild ocean at Mirissa, I was wonder-struck
that Sri Lanka could give such a wonderful gift to its visitors! Isak
Dinesen's words resonate in my mind every time I visit the Sri
Lanka coastline: "The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or
the sea." Again December will be the best time to see the blue
whales at Mirissa and the Organizing committee has included a
Whale Watching Tour on the 9th December 2016 as part of the
Conference package. For the wild-life enthusiasts, the nature trails
are full of flowers & butterflies & Leopards in December! There is
lots to do after the academic sessions!
There are limited rooms at this Residential Meeting & I would
encourage you to register early.
