1. ITworks announces freeIT – an entry level managed services offering for the small to medium sized business.
Our primary focus for our clients can be categorized into three main groups: Security, Stability and Reliability. It is our experience that if
each of these categories are not properly maintained as a whole, it will result in a computer, server, or network that has mystery issues
and is susceptible to being down or
marginally useable.

5. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How can you offer monitoring for free?
A: ITworks uses a monitoring tool called Labtech. While it’s true that software like this has costs, our goal is to maximize the usage of the
licensing we’re already paying for.
Q: So you don’t charge any companies for monitoring?
A: We do! It’s safe to say that any business is designed to make money. Our free monitoring will give you a nice look into how your
network is operating, while our Fully Managed Care solution offers more monitors, faster alerts, and best of all – we get the alerts
instead of you and just fix things automatically at no extra charge.
Q: Oh, so instead of paying you for monitoring you’re going to ding us for every little support request?
A: We don’t perform any work unless you specifically request us to do so and can even give you an estimate on time and cost before
you give us the green light. Our rates are below the average for IT consulting companies in the area, so we’re confident that you’ll get
the best support for the best rate working with us. And if you decide you want to look at other support options like Fully Managed Care
we can do that at any time, all of our contracts are month-to-month.
Q: What level of service will you guarantee me with this free monitoring solution?
A: We get back to all of our clients in a timely fashion, as quickly as possible. Our freeIT solution includes best effort support. We are
unable to guarantee a time frame on a response, because our Fully Managed Care clients are paying for a premium response time on
their issues. Typically we will get back to you within an hour or two, and will work with you to schedule remediation or sometimes just fix
the problem right then and there.
Q: What are the payment terms for work performed?
A: We invoice our clients on the first (1) and fifteenth (15) of each month; however the dates we invoice are always subject to change.
We recommend keeping a credit card on file with ITworks for automatic payment, but we also accept checks through Intuit Payment
Network, as well as check by mail. Payments are due upon receipt of invoice.
Q: You mentioned that we have to pay for any work performed. What are your hourly rates?
A: Our typical hourly rates are listed on the next page, in an easy to understand table.
