5. Consumer & SME Division –
Retail broadband to consumers and
SMEs
• Broadband internet services provided over
a new LTE network which utilises UKB’s
3.4 GHz and 3.6 GHz spectrum.
• 30 Mbps speeds Range from 5 Mbps – 50
Mbps, depending on customer location;
higher speeds to come with technology
upgrades – Softbank trials in Japan have
demonstrated 1Gbps in same frequency.
• Appealing particularly to consumers in
poorly served areas and those seeking a
flexible service offering.
• No need for a landline.
• No long contracts - starting from 30 days.
• Fast installation – “plug and play” with an
indoor wireless hub.
• £20 inc. VAT per month for consumers.
• £25 + VAT per month for businesses.

6. Consumer & SME Division –
Dedicated Business Ethernet
• Dedicated point to point services for
businesses with larger data requirements,
provided over UKB’s microwave spectrum
(“Dedicated Business Internet”).

A technical trial for NGA (30 Mbps) service to

LTE network.
