Based on the results of trials to provide
optimum and economically feasible options for
durum wheat production under the “karu” soils
conditions in the River Nile State , the National
Crop Husbandry Committee recommended:
• A range of seed rate of 125-165 kg/ha (52-
69kg/fed)
•A range of N level of 110-150 kg N/ha (46-
63kg/fed).
Based on the results of trials to provide
optimum and economically feasible options for
