13. Allan Wagner
Al Wagner is currently a Technical Evangelist with IBM, driving thought leadership, strategic
initiatives, and tangible solutions with a specific focus on continuous deployment and testing
within the larger DevOps topic. In his twenty years of practical IT field experience, Al has
assisted, supported, mentored, and enabled teams to solve their IT application infrastructure,
development, implementation, and operations challenges. In addition to being a frequent speaker
on adopting a DevOps approach to software delivery, Al has co-authored the IBM Application
Release and Deployment for Dummies book, IBM Service Virtualization for Dummies book, and
authored numerous papers on continuous testing and test automation..
Amy Silberbauer
Amy is a Solution Architect charged with the definition and delivery of the Enterprise Scaled Agile
and IBM DevOps Plan solutions and strategy for the IBM Systems – Application Platform line of
business. She is a recognized subject matter expert on scaled agile and software development
lifecycle solutions, including enterprise modernization, SOA and collaborative DevOps. She has
been with IBM for 28 years and has two decades of software development experience as an
engineer, architect and manager. She is a certified SAFe® Program Consultant experienced in
leading and consulting on multiple internal and external SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework®)
transformations.
Arun Biligiri
Arun Biligiri is the leader of the Application Performance Management Offering Management
team at IBM. Arun has over 20 years of experience in technology in various different roles
including entrepreneurial, development, product management and sales engineering. He has
worked closely with innovative enterprises and has extensive experience in addressing cloud,
analytics needs in efficiently managing their data centers and clouds. He has an MBA from the
Wharton School, and MS from the University of California, Berkeley.
Bhawana Gupta
Bhawana is an expert in the area of Rational Unified Process, Rational Requirements
Management and Architecture Management. She has consulted many software development
delivery teams in adopting Rational tools and methods. As a part of productivity increasing
measures across teams, she has implemented best practices for various types of projects. Her
experience ranges from supporting teams with RFP's, pilot projects for Rational tool adoption and
helping teams rollout a complete tool implementation engagement.
Christopher Lazzaro
Chris is a lead architect, building tools that enable developer productivity and operational
excellence in IBM Cloud. He strives to enable customers to make the digital transformation to the
cloud with DevOps tools, standards, practices, and the ecosystem needed to innovate faster than
their competition. Chris began his career with IBM Tivoli in 1998, building systems management
tools, and he has helped transition those capabilities into SaaS and cloud-native operations tools.
With a focus on innovative, leading-edge solutions, he has obtained recognition as an IBM
master inventor.
14. David K Zimmerman
Dave Zimmerman is IBM’s Global Solutions Executive & Worldwide Cloud Leader for Banking &
Financial Markets. He specializes in business model transformation to help clients better compete
and grow. He is accountable for IBM’s Global Cloud strategy, industry solutions offerings, clients’
support and partner development. Dave’s previous leadership roles included leading IBM’s
Worldwide Core Banking business and Global Vice President at Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young. Dave
has over 20-years delivery and engagement experience developed by working with clients on three
continents.
Eric Minick
Eric Minick is a Technical Evangelist. He joined IBM through its acquisition of UrbanCode. He has
spent the last more than ten years helping organizations – large and small – adopt continuous
integration, delivery and now –DevOps. He is a frequent speaker on the topic, and co-authored
Application Release and Deployment For Dummies. Prior to consulting, Eric was a developer, test
automation engineer and support engineer, and has contributed to multiple generations of
UrbanCode products. .
Jose Ortiz
Jose Ortiz works as a Senior Technical Staff Member and Software Architect in IBM’s Hybrid
Cloud Business Unit. He is currently helping to develop and evolve the new Cloud Automation
Manager offering. Previously, Jose spent 10 years as an Architect/Developer IBM, leading
solutions around virtualization and cloud enablement in products like WebSphere Cloudburst
Appliance, IBM Workload Deployment and PureApplication System. Jose also help with client
enablement worried to use and integrate those products. He is also a frequent conference
speaker. Originally from Puerto Rico, he now works and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Michael Elder
Michael is the IBM Distinguished Engineer for Continuous Delivery. Michael holds a B.S. in
Computer Science from Furman University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University
of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has numerous awarded patents and has been honored with two
IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement awards. His passions include solving customer problems
to enable them to provide better experiences for their users.
Mustafa Kapadia
Mustafa is the Service Line Leader for IBM’s DevOps practice, a business advisory practice
focused on helping large enterprises transform their software & application delivery. He has over
17+ years of experience in the tech. space, both as a service provider and a management
consultant. His expertise is in DevOps, cloud, lean, application development, outsourcing,
offshoring etc. and has published several articles on DevOps. He lives in San Francisco Bay Area,
is an avid blogger (when time permits), a speaker, and advisor to start ups.
15. Peter Eeles
Peter is an Executive IT Architect, IBM Hybrid Cloud, where he helps organizations improve their
IT delivery capability in order to drive tangible business value. He has a particular interest in the
adoption of Architecture, Agile, DevOps and Cloud as innovation enablers. In the IT industry
since 1985, Peter comes from a delivery background and was previously Chief Architect of IBM
Rational’s Worldwide Solution Delivery organization where he led many large-scale
transformations in a variety of industries. Peter has written many papers and several books,
including “The Process of Software Architecting” (2009), “Building J2EE Applications with the
Rational Unified Process” (2002), and “Building Business Objects” (1998). He runs his own
website at www.architecting.co.uk..
Rosalind Radcliffe
Rosalind is a Distinguished Engineer within the IBM Rational organization. She is Chief Architect
for CLM and DevOps. She is responsible for driving the DevOps for multi-platform
architecture. This includes System z and Power system. In addition she is responsible for the
architecture for the Collaborative Management capability for Enterprise solutions. This includes
UrbanCode Deploy and Rational Team Concert's support for standard Mainframe development
activities. She is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and a Master Inventor. Prior to
Rational, she was in Tivoli responsible for the SOA Management Strategy for IBM.
Sanjeev Sharma
Sanjeev is CTO and Distinguished Engineer for DevOps Technical Sales and Adoption in IBM
Cloud Unit. He is a 20-year veteran of the software industry with expertise in DevOps, Mobile
Development and UX, Lean and Agile Transformation, Application Lifecycle Management and
Software Supply Chains. He is a DevOps Thought Leader at IBM and speaks regularly at
conferences. He has written several papers and is the author of the DevOps for Dummies book.
Sarah Plantenberg
Sarah is a senior user experience designer located in San Francisco, California, where she has
designed for a broad range of clients, from start-ups to enterprises. Leveraging her cognitive
psychology and neuroscience background, Sarah's innovative designs have brought clients
closer to their users and improved user satisfaction. As the builder and leader of design teams,
Sarah's thought leadership has penetrated all levels of her clients' businesses. Sarah also helps
