Using a low pH helps keep the skin healthy.
Natural skin surface pH is on average between 4.7 and 5.8.
It is important to preserve the skin’s natural acidity in order to
help resident flora fight exterior disruptors and then keep a healthy skin.
However this balance is too often altered by the daily use of neutral or
alkaline pH products (for instance, tap water has a pH around 8). This is why
experts recommend using as often as possible products with a pH close to 5.
