magazine which publishes on athletics news now on its 9th edition, and The Kenyan Runner 
Foundation (TKRF) whose mandate is to discover and nurture athletes. 
Position purpose 
Analyze, plan and implement marketing and sales activities. Monitor how target markets respond 
to marketing efforts. Independently conduct the day to day operational management and 
implementation of all activities pertaining to fund development and fundraising. Ultimately, 
increase profit and retain loyal customers. 
Key responsibilities 
 To develop and implement sales and marketing plan for execution by the advertising and 
sales department. This has resulted in significant growth of customer base.
 To manage the marketing budget, delivering all the marketing activities within the agreed 
budget. 
 To direct the hiring, training and performance evaluations of marketing and sales team and 
oversee their daily activities. 
 Negotiate contracts with distributors to manage product distribution, establish distribution 
networks and developing distribution strategies.
