Cultural & Experiential Campaigns:
We specialise in creating high-impact cultural campaigns for some of the world's leading consumer brands. Our extensive
network and original ideas have already combined to generate innovative campaigns for the likes of Absolut, Stella Artois,
BA Metrotwin, Becks and Skype.
Sponsorable Projects:
We develop our own projects in collaboration with our network of creatives and production companies to ‘make culture
happen’. We then use our extensive contact list of brands and organisations to create highly original partnerships.
Sponsorship Audits:
Team B&P also offer extensive audits from our experienced consultants to arts and culture events, institutions and festivals
looking to monitor and improve their current partnership roster and funding activity. These audits identify potential areas for
growth, evaluate current partnerships and recommend areas of each event that could be incorporated in the future
IG Gallery Partnerships:
Our own award-winning Idea Generation Gallery boasts a year-round programme of cutting edge art and photography
exhibitions. We create interesting and highly interactive partnerships between brands and the exhibition content – this can
include pop-up gigs, live photography shoots, gallery installations or talks and workshops.
Off Site ‘Trend Safaris’:
We curate bespoke off-site experiences in the UK and abroad for brands looking to gain inspiration and trend insights as
well as building relationships with some of the world’s most exciting creatives, in their own studios and workshops
6. Creative Collaboration: Absolut Artists’ Salon
• IG devised, produced, curated and PR’d a creative collaboration in conjunction with Absolut vodka
• The public were whisked away from the hustle and bustle of the Frieze Art Fair, and inspired by some of the world’s most
exciting artists – including Kate MccGwire, Hugo Wilson, Reece Jones and Jodie Carey
• Interactive workshops and tours informed and inspired over 400 members of the public over 2 days
• IG also negotiated a highly successful media partnership with FAD magazine, pushing the concept through online media
7. Design Exhibition: The Art of Conversation: (Powered by Skype)
• IG orchestrated an exhibition focusing on initiating conversations between design professionals in London and Berlin
• Team B&P curated a bespoke trip to Berlin, introducing Skype to creatives and design studios in the German capital
• Skype then set up an online portal, facilitating conversation between the creative communities – the end result of this was a
highly innovative design exhibition – launching at the IG gallery in London, before moving to Berlin
• This was PR’d by IG, who achieved nationwide coverage – including The Times, Financial Times and Evening Standard
8. The Queen of Hoxton: Venue Programming
• IG were commissioned to raise awareness of the Queen of Hoxton as one of East London’s leading creative clubs
• Team B&P responded by commissioning some of London’s leading street artists to completely re-design both the interior
and exterior of The Queen – artists involved included The Pirates and members of the Central Illustration Agency
• The venue was then re-launched in March 2010 - tying in with The Queen’s 1st birthday celebrations
• IG programmed and managed a busy and highly varied week’s activity – including live demonstrations, bands and DJs
9. Skype: Off-Site ‘Safari’ to Berlin
• Team B&P devised, created and curated a bespoke off-site experience for the Skype design team across Berlin –
undoubtedly one of the world’s most exciting and creative cities
• Through our extensive network of artists, street artists, designers, venue owners, collectives, culturepreneurs and industry
VIPs – IG created a packed day of money-can’t-buy experiences
• The Skype team were taken to over 40 artist workshops, recording studios, secret pop-up stores and underground
nightclubs – absorbing inspiration from creatives and generating relationships with those at the forefront of their industry
10. Stella Black: Product launch & Sampling
• In association with the agency Mother, Idea Generation launched Stella Artois’s brand new, beer – Stella Artois Black
• The Night Chauffeur launched in dramatic style across London – with media and the general public being offered an
immersive experience in the back of a 1950’s black Citroen
• To support this launch, Team B&P created sampling opportunities at key events throughout London – essentially
getting the product into people’s hands and reinforcing the public’s overall familiarity with the brand
11. Alibi – Core Brand Strategy, Partnerships & Product Sampling
• IG undertook an extensive series of research programs to help develop the strategy for Alibi and establish the best possible
brand positioning moving forward
• Having conducted this research, IG set up a number of key partnerships – creating cut-through for the brand at a number of
high-profile summer festivals – including Glastonbury, The Isle of Wight Festival and Clothes Show Live
• Team B&P worked alongside our in-house Lifestyle and Events PR department to facilitate coverage in major national press
and consumer magazines from Mixmag to Cosmopolitan, Daily Express to Twitter resulting in an AVE of £57, 041
12. Sailor Jerry: Partnership with Encounters Short Film Festival
• Team B&P negotiated a highly successful partnership between Sailor Jerry and an exclusive VIP party at Encounters Short
Film Festival
• Key member’s of the world’s film industry, dignitaries, media and the Encounters event team were transported across the
Bristol Channel to Spike Island on The Matthew – one of the world’s most fascinating Tudor sailing ships
• Sailor Jerry was served throughout the night, and a film mapping the life of Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins was included in
the presentation, as well as onsite branding, and product sampling
13. Bespoke Events: Summer & Christmas Parties
• Idea Generation have created, curated and delivered a range of bespoke event packages at exciting venues like Fulham
Palace, Proud Cabaret, The Design Museum, Shoreditch House and Paramount Club
• As well as selecting and liaising with the venue – IG also programme a range hugely varied entertainment – from cabaret to live
DJ’s – whilst also using our network of collectives and secret restaurants to ensure that there are delicious food options
• Team B&P have great relationships with clubs, bars, restaurants, secret pop-ups, underground clubs (and everything in
between) across London, and use these to ensure that the best possible night is programmed to your specific needs
14. Music Collaboration Commission: Elbow and Hallé Orchestra
• Team B&P brokered a world-first collaboration between Elbow and Hallé Orchestra
• A one off performance then took place in the Bridgewater Hall as part of Manchester International Festival 2009
• Demand for the event was huge, and even resulted in an outdoor screen in Castlefield – where thousands of people watched
• Critically acclaimed as one of the stand-out highlights of the 2009 MIF
15. National Radio Programme: Scott Mills the Musical in Edinburgh
• B&P created ‘Scott Mills the Musical’ in conjunction with Radio 1 and The Pleasance, Edinburgh’s leading independent theatre
• This included devising the concept, negotiating the partnership and PR’ing the event to all media
• It also involved on air live production meetings and audience phone-in’s on Radio 1
• The show was a huge success – selling out over the three days it was on
• As a direct result, Pleasance ticket sales reached 425,000 in 2009 – a 12% increase on the previous year
16. IG Gallery Programming: Mick Rock: Rock Music in association with Zippo
• The IG gallery hosted a retrospective exhibition of photos by Mick Rock, in partnership with Zippo
• Team B&P curated the Zippo Rehearsal Rooms at the MEN gallery in Shoreditch and invited 28 unsigned bands to perform
over the week
• Mick Rock came to the Rehearsal Rooms and participated in a live photo shoot featuring one new band chosen by Zippo and
three chosen by NME
• The exhibition was attended by over 5000 visitors and IG secured over 160 pieces of media coverage including a 6 page
spread in the NME
17. Creative Installation: Artisanal Chewing Gum Factory
• B&P commissioned the UK’s most sought after food architects, Bompas & Parr, to create an artisanal chewing gum factory
• This was held at Whiteleys shopping centre, London over the Autumn half term
• 1542 visitors enjoyed the experience over 7 days, with tickets completely selling out well in advance
• 20 key media attended the private view from publications such as Guardian, BBC Good Food and Urban Junkie; 38 individual
items of positive coverage, including a feature on BBC Newsround
