2. We wanted to go for a naturalistic casual
clothing costume. This would make the audience
feel more comfortable and be able to engage in
a real life setting. We used this effect because it
is a thriller.

We used a deserted train
station, this represents the
loneliness of all the characters
and why they are on a dating
website.
The setting is at a gloomy train
station, the weather
represents the darkness of the
storyline.

connotes the title of
the film, ‘On The
Line.’
7. The train station is deserted, the
only moving thing around except
for the train is a pigeon.
The platform is deserted
as there is a pigeon
walking across the
screen, it will be very
quiet as it walks across
the whole frame.
The ‘I Love Mormon’
poster connotes that
she is lonely and
looking for love.
We chose an empty carriage
to represent her loneliness.
The use of framing the red
poles, connotes danger, as red
is associated with fire. It also
connotes love, she is looking
for love.
