6. Physical disability
A physical disability is when an individual finds mobility
challenging, or they may to use assistance to get around.
They may need a carer to support them to get around and
move from place to place. They may have fine motor or
gross motor challenges.
7. Hand Bandages
All day you will have your hand bandaged to experience what it
could be like to have a physical challenge.
Take this seriously………really think about how difficult some
day to day tasks can become.

What causes a Physical Disability?
Congenital disability – This means that the physical disability
was present at birth. This could also be a genetic syndrome.
Progressive disability – This is a disability that gets diagnosed
and you may deteriorate over a period of time. For example
- muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis
Acquired disability – This is a disability that is sudden – for
example, paralysis because of an RTA or a soldier injured in
battle.
