The heavy statistics on obesity given in this presentation are truly worrying. The NHS is spending billions on bad health issues that are directly caused by obesity. Obesity in children is also on the rise and doesn't look to be dropping any time soon although the government are now acting on ways to tackle the obesity in children. The presentation also gives an insight into how the UK measures up against the rest of Europe in the fight against obesity. Unfortunately though, the figures don't look great.
