AFAQ 26000 assessment:
where does your organisation stand?
Companies and organisations are being increasingly required to contribute towards
sustainable development. Their performance must be based on three pillars: financial,
social and environmental. This contribution from organisations is set out in ISO 26000,
the first international standard to offer guidelines for Corporate Social Responsibility,
published on 1st November 2010.
AFNOR Certification proposes the AFAQ 26000 assessment to help organisations

to the AFAQ 26000 assessment
Every company has different answers in terms
of Corporate Social Responsibility and their relevance depends
on the context in which the company is operating.
Sustainable development is an unreachable goal that requires
constant progress, effort and adaptation.
Corporate Social Responsibility does not therefore involve a binary judgement:
“I’m sustainable development” or “I’m not”.
Though it encourages progress, an assessment of the level of maturity
as a recognition of the organisation’s efforts is the most appropriate
ethical and technical solution.
