2. In March 2004 23-25 I receivedmyGroundSecurityTrainingfromthe AmericanAirlinesFlagship
UniversitylocatedinDallasForth WorthTexas.Conductedpre-flightphysical aircraftsearchesforDelta
and AmericanEagle airlines.These searcheswere attimesundertime constraints.Thesesearcheswere
done on the interiorandexteriorof the aircraftsealingthemoncompletion.Thiswastoprepare for
pre-flightloadingof cargoandpassengers,andthe pushback of the aircraft.Whenthe contracts were
awardedto othercompanies, Iwasthenassignedtothe domesticbag-roomlaterbecomingone of the
leadhands. WhenI transferredtothe overnightpositionthisentailedworkingovernights,weekends
duringthe busiesttime forthe airportcommunityCharterSeason.Imonitoredthe beltsystem, reported
successful resolutionof stoppagesandjamstothe Duty Manager. Due to the highvolume of baggage
inductionquickthinkingwasrequiredtoresolve beltissuesdelegatingpersonnel. Diplomacywas
requiredinareassuchas customs where returningpassengersoften clamoredfortheirdelayed
baggage.In dealingwiththeserequestsatall times Iutilized aprofessionalcourteousmanner.
I have usedMS Word since my time at UBC for papers,research, andas an internatthe Institute
of IndigenousGovernmentinVancouver. Aswell,duringmytenure asa Special ProjectsOfficerat
