• John Deere Construction Equipment:
The John Deere Dubuque Works factory was opened in 1947. This is
the place where John Deere construction equipment is built. John
Deere builds Compact Loaders and Excavators to an unmatched level
of quality. It stretches over one mile long on 1,465 acres three miles
north of Dubuque, Iowa. The Dubuque Works manufactures
Compact Track Loaders, crawler loaders, skid steers, backhoe
loaders, excavators, winches, and components for various heavy
equipment products.
