Energy & Technology American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) Potential Funding for GA $82,495,000 Monies controlled in GA by GEFA – Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority “ Under the 2009 State Energy Program, GEFA intends to create several funding opportunities for state agencies, local governments, and private-sector entities. Opportunities for the private-sector will include loans and grants, and will be awarded through an open, competitive application process. Applications will be evaluated according to a series of criteria still under development. Criteria may include, but not limited to, estimates of job creation / retention, other economic benefits, energy saved, renewable energy generated, and other cost/benefit information”
