Try using charts, diagrams and photos in presentations
Pass out handouts that allow visual learners to circle, highlight or mark up information to help
them absorb and retain information for the long term. 
Be careful with listen­and­respond or audio tests 
Learn best by seeing information and connections.

Benefit from spoken lectures, engaging storytelling or word association games. 
Try following up presentations with a group discussion or question­and­answer session
Be wary of charts, graphs, or info­graphics as these can be detrimental to their learning process

Try typing out booklets or passing out handouts before starting a presentation to allow
these learners to follow along. 
Will likely take extensive notes throughout the onboarding process so provide a notepad and

Require an experience and can easy get antsy sitting, listening or watching for too long. 
Try providing an office tour or engaging in group activities and challenges
Provide opportunity to shadow other employees or throw them into their role to learn by doing
Don't be afraid of providing too much activity or hands on experience 
Learn by doing.
When onboarding a new hire make sure to maintain transparency and have a conversation as to
what type of learner they are. Ask questions prior to training to make sure that your presentations
and handouts will have the most effect on your new hire.
