With a strong background in food microbiology, microbial technology and immunology, I now seek to move into preventive medicine by isolating health promoting microbes from traditional food products. My research interests which includes; (1) biotechnology, food and industrial microbiology, and (2) preventive medicine and probiotics, are driven by two key problems plaguing the world: that of DISEASE and POVERTY.
