5) You shouldsee aboltwitha fewwiresattached.Itshouldbe appearinthe followingdiagram:
Remove eachwire fromitsmountingscrew.(There will be one wire attachedoneachside of where
youremovedthe spare tire.) Place themaside inordernottolose them.
6) Next,remove one of the boltsholdingdownyourseat.
7) Start pullinguponthe seat and youshouldbe able toget itfree.
8) Place the seat aside inthe trunkof yourcar.
9) You'll nowsee a fewmore parts, includingahookthatholdsthe seatbeltdown,probablytwo
more boltsholdingdownyourseat,a metal barconnectedto yourseatbase,and a bracket
connectedtothe bottomof it.
10) Next,youwill have toremove the hookfromyourvehicle.Removebothof the screwsthatare
holdingitinplace.
11) Thentake off bothboltsfrom underyourseatbase.
12) Finallyremovebothboltsfromunderyourmetal bracketusinganadjustable wrenchorpliersfor
tightspaces.
13) Liftup yourseatand place it as far fromthe trunk as youcan.

2. 14) Putthe boltback intoplace,and use youradjustable wrenchorplierstotightenitdownalong
withyourseat belt.
15) Next,youwill have toconnectthe wirestothe new heatedseat.Putone wire oneachendof the
copperflatcontact pointsonthe newheatedseat.
16) Putboth wiresbackthroughtheirrespective mountingscrew holesinordernottolose them!
