2. DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM Welcome to Developing LifeDeveloping Life gives both parents tools & techniques that make birthing calmer, less stressful & less taxing. Teaching trance, breathing and visualisation techniques we aid both father & mother to work together to create a loving & supportive environment (wherever they may choose) for the new addition to the family. The father becomes more involved & supportive helping his partner to relax and focus during the birthing process. The techniques can be used by both parents after birth to help the baby relax, eat & sleep aiding its health in the initial moments & months of its life.

The Developing Life Birthing Program is suitable for first time parents and parents who have already experience birth. The Developing Life Birthing Program birth is suitable for those people who desire to have as natural childbirth experience as possible.Is The Developing Life Birthing Program Safe? The Developing Life Birthing Program give you safe usable techniques to use during childbirth, we use a focused state of concentrated attention (similar to being so interested in perhaps reading a book that you naturally filter out all others distractions) breathing, visualisation and confidence building techniques that will enable you to look forward and enter into this wonderful birthing experience with self assurance.

4. DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM Can the developing life birthing program guarantee completely pain-free labour and comfortable birth? No, sorry the developing life birthing program doesn’t deal in fantasy, nor we do we encourage anyone to be unrealistic. There are of course many factors that can affect a birth, some of which are outside anyone’s control, but be assured that even if things don’t unfold exactly as you planned, because of your participation in this program you will have the choice to confidently face whatever may develop.Also as with everything in life that we wish to be good at, become proficient in, or to achieve a modicum of success in, practice and application are the keys, and of course these factors are in your hands.

DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM The aim of participating in The Developing Life Birthing Program is to gain confidence in your birthing body, your baby, and the birthing process that has seen the continuation of the human species throughout the ages, also to gain techniques that will help you to remain in control during your pregnancy and birth experience and also to gain clarity around your expectations of childbirth. Is The Developing Life Birthing Program For Groups Or Individual Couples Too? We find the group classes so beneficial to our participants so this is our preferred way but we do seek to support couples so should there be a need for the program to be run for an individual couple, we of course will consider this depending on our mutual availability.

6. DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM Is There A Developing Life Birthing Program home-study course, or CDs, tapes and/or videos I could buy? When you participate in a Developing Life Birthing Program course, you will receive a book list, suggested websites, relaxation CD’s, handouts and prompts, and of course training on the day We have packed so much into day workshop that we don’t offer a home training course, but the investment of time at the classes is minimal to what you can do in your own home after you have participated in the course that we like to feel we are giving you both class and home training.

7. DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM When Is the Best Time To Participate In The Developing Life Birthing Program Classes? The Developing Life Birthing Program Team suggest anytime after 14 weeks and before 34 weeks pregnant is probably the best time to participate, of course the sooner the better regarding giving yourself the most time to practice. Don’t forget whatever positive steps you take (whether it be participating on The Developing Life Birthing Program) however early; however late with be beneficial to you, your baby and the whole birthing experience. Please be prepared however our classes do book up quickly so plan ahead!

8. DEVELOPING LIFE BIRTH PROGRAM Does My Partner/Husband Have To Attend The Classes? Although at Developing Life, we would encourage both mother and father to attend the course as this is a time of laying down the very foundation of your family life, we are also realistic enough to realise that this is not always possible so we do encourage you may bring a non-parent/partner to offer their support to you during the class and hopefully during your practice session at home, and maybe even during the birth? Developing Life also produces many CD titles some including relaxation in childbirth, please contact us for details
