2. Is it weird to have my almost five year old son in an umbrella type stroller while walking
around the mall?
i have to go out and do about two hours of xmas shopping at the mall, i have a six month old and 4
1/2 yr old. I of course have to have the six month old in a stroller but i know my 4 yr old will get tired..
so i want to bring the double jeep umbrella stroller, but is he technically to old to be going around in
a stroller? will that look weird?

It is perfectly okay to still have him in the stroller. They still wander at the age of
five and if he is happy to sit in the stroller then you should let him. You will have
a much more enjoyable shopping experience if you are both happy. And he will have a
much more enjoyable day if mom is happy. Enjoying the day together is really all that
matters, no matter if he sits or walks.

I would go for the Graco Duo, it’s more comfortable for both babies than the
Jeep.
The Jeep double isnt very good. It’s more like an umbrella stroller, for short trips etc.
Now if you’re interested in side by side, the Chicco Twin is excellent! It’s very comfortable,
it reclines all the way for an infant or for a tired toddler, and it’s quite light!

my jeep cherokee can fit my jogging stoller AND my friends double stroller. she
had the double stroller where the infant is in is regular carseat that you click
into the stroller and the older child sits in the back or can stand in the back. i don’t
remember what it’s called though. she got it from target and just used her regular
carseat. it folded down to be nearly flat. an incredible stroller imo.

I know this is not what you want to hear, but it depends on how big the stroller
is. I’d bet that you could fit a simple, inexpensive one back there. I think you’d
have some trouble with one of the newer double jobs with all the bells and whistles.

Looking for any suggestions about a double stroller. I’m looking for one that would be
good for a 2 year old and a newborn. I have a Jeep jogging stroller right now and LOVE it! Does
anyone have suggestions about a double jogging stroller? I would like one that is lighter weight and
folds up somewhat compact.(I know most strollers don’t fold up as compact as we’d like)

I have a Bob Dually Double Jogging Stroller and I absolutely love it. You can buy
an attachment that allows you to use it with an infant car seat. It’s a little bar that
is easy to attach and can be used on the other side of the stroller as a snack tray. When
the infant seat is no longer needed, it can be converted entirely to a snack track with cup
holders.
I think it’s great and I spent a ton of time looking. Plus, they’re in great colours and you
can get matching accessories!

Stroller advice?
I have a (almost) 2 year old son and a (almost) 5 year old daughter. Just got rid of the
double stroller and want to get a nice stroller for my 2 year old. I have an umbrella one but I want
something a little bigger with a basket and tray in front. Any advice for what kind? I was look at the
jeep liberty limited stroller……anyone like that one?

I’ve ditched the big stroller in favor of an umbrella stroller, for more trunk space
and less bulky items to own and cart around.
I know that umbrella doesn’t have storage… I had a Graco stroller and it had mega
storage! I miss it sometimes, but we don’t use the stroller enough to make it worth
shelling out a hundred dollars worth it.

Strollers and Rental Cars?
Hello,
My family and I will be taking a vacation to upstate NY and into Canada. We will be flying from Utah
to New York and then renting an economy car from budget and driving into Canada. We will be
visiting numerous sites along the way. We will be bringing a 22 month old and a 3 month old. What
stroller should I bring?
Mostly thinking about room in the car. We will be gone 6 days. I’m thinking about purchasing a new
stroller for the trip, but can’;t really afford it. I currently have a Single Graco stroller an umbrella
stroller and a double jeep umberlla stroller. What should I do?

Hi, check with the rental car company, they may rent strollers. Also, there are
some stores that rent them, Check ebay for people that have them for sale in
that area (you can use a zip for an area search) contact them and offer to rent the stroller
for a price, they may even meet you at the car lot! Sometimes nice people are willing to
help others out!

I Need double stroller advice, any ideas?
We love the contour stroller because of the coverage and the fact that I can turn the seats
all different directions. But we tried to put it in our car at babies r us and it doesn’t fit. (we tried to put
the floor model in) So we are in a bind. 20 days till our second arrives and we need a double
stroller. We have a 2007 jeep compass so you would think it would fit. But of course not. So please
if y’all have any Ideas I would love to hear them cause my husbands grandmother is buying the
stroller tomorrow with my husband. Any Ideas???

Well, in-line strollers are the way to go. Side by side are completely unwieldy
and make going through doors the biggest pain. Depending on how old your
first is, I had a friend with an excellent stroller, called a sit n stand, something like this:

Her toddler didn’t want to sit in a stroller anymore, but was still too small to keep up on
long walks. This was perfect.
Otherwise…your personal preference for a stroller is going to override any opinions, so I
would suggest that you go to babiesrus.com and when you’re looking at double strollers,
scroll down the side and have it sort the results by customer feedback: easily stowed.
Then read the reviews. I just scanned the first few, and definitely see reviews of people
mentioning the strollers fitting into small SUVs and compact car trunks. I don’t want to
recommend anything specifically because I haven’t actually used any of them, but that is
what I would do.

best stroller?
So-
My husband & I have the graco snugride travel set (stroller & car seat), a jogging stroller & an
umbrella stroller. we are planning on having another baby, so here is the question:
We want a lightweight stroller (none of the above have a basket except the travel one & it is so heavy
for me to lift in/out of the car). Should I get another one for this child or wait & get a double stroller

I am so torn over what stroller is a good one- he only likes the jogging stroller but it is HUGE (it is

hates to be in it. The jeep umbrella is nice, but without the basket, I can’t do much.
Thanks for your advice. (dumb question, but I just don’t know what will work for us & its so hard to
carry him- as he is 10 months old)

as the mother of a toddler and an infant I originally just kept my bugaboo and
added the toddler wheeled board, after a while it didn’t work because my
toddler would not stand there and wanted to sit.
I ended up finding the Perfect stroller and it was the Phil and teds sport.
The phil and teds stroller can be a single and all you have to do is buy the doubles
attachment and it goes from being a single to a double in less than one minute.
When the baby is a newborn the attachment goes in the front for the toddler and the seat
lays back all the way flat for the baby to lay down.
once the baby gets older the toddler goes back to sittin on the front part of the stroller and
the baby goes on back seat which is attached near the basket.
It kinda look like a double decker stroller and you will have tons of people ask about it and
stare at it because it’s so crazy looking.
once your oldest no longer wants to ride in a stroller then you just take off the attachment
and voila you have a single stroller again
also the phil and teds is a jogging stroller and the stroller by itself will run you 399.99 and
like 79.99 for the doubles kit.

Which is good double lightweight stroller?
I am looking for a double side by side stroller, I would like it to be lightweight, compact,
and for it to recline fully to a lying position…. Any advice????? Does any one have the Jeep
Wrangler Twin Sport All-Weather Umbrella Stroller – Jeep Heat….. If so can you tell me if it fits any
of the criteria?

Baby jogger city mini twin is an excellent twin pushchair, it is side by side, its
lightweight, lays flat so it is suitable from newborn, compact when folded, its
comfortable, has multi position seats and hoods and its great to push. I look after my
nephew 4 days a week he is 7 months and my little boy is almost 6 months and when I
was looking for a twin pushchair I came across this one and after reading the review on it
I knew it was the best one to get, I walk alot and this pushchair is fantastic.

Help me find the perfect Jogging Stroller!?
Ahh! The joys of finding the perfect stroller. I am looking for a jogging stroller that is a
double as my son will be only 18 months old when the one I am pregs with is due. I also want one
that has the real tires no the cheap plastic ones. A canopy and 5 point harness as my son likes to
try and wiggle his way out. Now I like the jeep brand but if I can find something similar I will be
happy. Oh one last thing I found some singles that accommodate a infant car seat/ carrier I would
like a double that can accommodate one for the baby. Any idea? If possible at a decent price I know
with all that I am asking it might get pricey but i already have a crib and changing table swing and all
the extras so we will be spending the majority of our budget on a good car seat and jogging stroller
as I need to shed all the baby weight as I have had 3 babies in the last 3 years yikes.Ha Ha an
added note this is the last thank god to tubal ligation’s ha ha! God Bless all you Mommy’s that have
more than three I would pull my hair out. You are some sort of super mom.

I have the perfect jogging stroller. It’s not cheap and its a double but I LOVE.
Have run many miles with it. Its the Bob Dualie Sport Utility. I’ve seenthe
singles at 5ks. They are nice too.
I did lots of research on jogging strollers before I bought mine. Here’s what I’ve learned.
-You want at least 16″ wheels. It’s hard to take holes and bumps at speed with small
wheels.
-The cheapy ones make it harder for you to jog. They’re a pain to run with. The more
expensive ones you barely notice you are pushing a small person.
I have an excel spreadsheet on this if you’d like it. But it’s only on double strollers.

I am totally overwhelmed with all the different brands and types of jogging strollers, does
anyone have any good recommendations?
I am seeing InSTEP, Schwinn, Jeep, Graco, etc. I mainly need it just for running and/or walking in
my neighborhood. I have a 20 pound one year old boy and a 30 pound three year old girl. Thank you

i have 3 month old twins, i was given a Jeep double stroller the wagonner i believe, i was
wondering if anyone knew if and how the front seat layed back? the back seat does but im not too
sure if and how the front seat reclines..

Where to find replacement strap for stroller?
I got an older Jeep double umbrella stroller for free. The only thing wrong with it is that
one of the foot straps is broken. Does anyone know a great place to buy a replacement one without

If you look on the underside of the stroller on one of the frame there maybe a white sticker

Best double stroller for a 2 1/2 and 4 yr old.?
Ok we are goinf to disney in 3 weeks and I have a 2 and 4 year old child, i am looking for
a comfortable stroller for both kids, when we wnt a few months ago I tool my single stroller and had
my four year old walk, however had to rent a double one from disney the next day because my son
was complaining his legs were tired, which cost about $40, I want to purchase one not instead of
giving MORE money to disney than I have to. I have two double strollers here but one my son is a
little too big for and the other is a side by side jeep umbrella type and the canopys on this thing
SUCK, the dont really protect from anything.
is it a side by side? because my son has long legs and thats where i am having trouble with my
eddie bauer one.

Well you can get the Graco Quattro-it has two cup holder instead of a tray in the
front seat which makes for more room…

What is a good reliable inexpensive double stroller?
I’m going to be going to an amusement park with a 4 year old (weighs 44 lbs) and an 8
month old (weighs 22 lbs). I’m looking to buy a good double stroller. Something that is easy to
break down and open because we will be on and off a trolley. Something not bulky, lightweight, I
prefer a side by side umbrella stroller and I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg unless it’s really
worth it! We are planning on adding to the family, so this would be used for quite some time! We
have considered the Jeep double side by side umbrella stroller, and for the price I can’t complain.
What does anyone else suggest?

I think it’s big and bulky like the graco duo glider… I think with lighter kids, it
pushes fine, but with older heavier kids, not so much.
Strollers do not expired like carseat – but they can have recalls…
