Try the Web

You can ignore the 350 mAh – you can get one with higher.
The important part is SIZE (like AA, C, etc.), and 3.6 V

Are there any dual camera baby monitors?
We use a simple wireless video monitor to keep tabs on my 2 year old son while he’s
napping and sleeping. Eventually he’ll have a little bro or sis that we’ll also want to keep tabs on.
Are there any baby monitors that incorporate two cameras viewable on one remote monitor?

The one from Summer does. You can put one video on A and the other on B.
Then on the monitor you can switch from viewing A or B. I figured this out when
my SIL came for a visit and brought her video monitor. We had my daughter on video A
and her son on B.

Is there a dual video baby monitor for twins who will be in separate rooms?
I want a video monitor that shows both cribs/rooms at the same time. Does something
like this exist?
actually, it’s not really twins…more like Irish Twins. Basically a 1 year old and newborn. I just put
“twins” to make it easy…less to explain but it didn’t work!

you can use any monitor, just buy two, set them on the same channel and there
you go. It happens in apartments all the time, your baby is sleeping and you
hear crying over the monitor and it turns out to be the baby a few doors down, that’s why
they have different channels.

No, I don’t mean dual monitors, I mean dual VOLTAGE – the kind you can take to Europe (220v) and
it will still work. Any thoughts anyone?

Multiple Children / Multiple Baby Monitors?
My son is 2.5 years old and we still use a Video Baby Monitor in his room. I am due in May
with my 2nd child and will also need a Video Baby Monitor in the babies room.
My question is.. If I get 2 similar systems, will the channels interfere with each other? Is there a
brand that makes Dual Camera systems?
Parents that have run into this situation… what did you do?
I’m not comfortable with not having a monitor in my older son’s room just yet…. so I really will need
two.
Thanks for your help!
Yeah, I know he will be fine… but I’m not ready yet.
So if you are going to answer my Q, then please answer it… I don’t need to hear all the other crap.
Thanks.

Neither of my kids were okay with opened door check ups, ever, if we opened
the door to see if they were ok, they woke up and refused to go back to sleep.
Add to that that we can’t even hear the doorbell or phone while in the basement, well,
monitors are a necessity and we went with video monitors so we didn’t end up waking the
kids all the time instead of just checking on them. My son has a sleep disorder so there
was no way I wanted to interrupt his sleep if I could help it. He was 21 months when his
sister was born so what we did is buy two of the basic Safety 1st video monitors. I put
each kid on a different channel. I mainly monitored the baby, but if I heard something from
my son, I could switch channels and see if I needed to go in to him or if everything was
4. my son, I could switch channels and see if I needed to go in to him or if everything was
okay. If I needed full-time monitoring of my son, say if we were watching a movie in the
basement, I put on a voice only monitor I had for him — whatever the cheapest fisher
price one is — but I could still look at him if I needed to by flipping channels. It worked fine
at the same time as the video ones. It sounds really complicated but it worked out well for
us.
As for dual monitoring video ones — I couldn’t find one that worked the way I needed it to
work — thus the above. They have dual systems that will monitor more than one room at
a time but you’re only able to keep the receiver end on one room. Basically, doing what we
did above, but I think the way we did it ended up being less expensive (I think the dual
system was like $250).
You can’t run two videos in the same room at the same time, even on different channels,
as they do interfere and you either get static or screaming. At least the ones we tried did.

Would this be an okay 5.1 speaker set up?
This is…well gonna sound pretty rediculous at the moment, bare with me its only
temporary. So i am getting a Asus 7.1 DX sound card, should be here in the next day or two. I would
like some sort of surround sound with this new baby right? well this is what i got.
a set of 2.1 channel speakers
a set of stereo speakers and my monitors speakers, which have dual speakers in them. so uhh my
questions…. can i make it 5.1? lol
lets say i use the 2.1 for front and bass, the stereos for side and the monitors for centers? would it
work or no?
Would it be better just to keep with 4.1 using the 2 speaker sets and not the monitor? i dunno what
to do lol.
here are some facts, the the 2.1 speakers the right and left are connect to a single stereo wire and
the sub connects into the right speaker so it can be taken out into another port, the stereo speakers
are connected and my monitor is stereo speakers just have to plug in a male to male stereo plug.
Okay let me here your critiscism about how i have the crappiest set up..
Yes i will hopefully getting a set of actual surround sound speakers soon. i just wanna try this with
what i have

If all the speakers are self-powered (with built-in amp), yes. The card has

Help with dual baby monitors for 2 children.?
I need to monitor 2 children and am having trouble finding two monitors that work
together. We have a Graco from our first baby. I bought a Fisher Price for baby #2 and there was lots
of interference even with them on two different channels. We tried a second graco, but the
interference was even worse. I tried one of the digital that monitors 2 rooms at the same time, but I
don’t like that it toggles back and forth between the rooms. (Ok, so I’m a little hyper about hearing
everything, but that’s a discussion for another day!) Has anyone had any luck running two monitors
at the same time?? Thank you for any help you can give.

Dual Child/room unit baby monitors or other options ?
Hi,
Does anyone know of any dual Child/room baby monitors on the market (reasonable cost). I have
found lots of ones with dual parent units but thats not what I want.
Also another option would be to buy a single unit different (presume diff frequency) so we can have
2 complete units running at the same time. At the moment we have a tomy walkabout baby
advance.
I’d be very interested to hear from people who may be running 2 seperate units including one of the
above.
Regards
Dale

May I suggest you repost it in the homes & garden or the parents & parenting section, that
way you have a better chance of getting an answer.

Have you tried this Baby Monitor?
I was wondering if anyone has used a Fisher Price Sounds n’ Lights Monitor with Dual
Receivers??? My grandpa is very hard of hearing, and we were wondering if anyone thinks it will be
loud enough for him to hear my gma (they sleep in seperate rooms) if she needs help in the middle
of the night. She fell out of bed once and had to wait until morning to shine a flash light through a
mirror to get his attentions across the apartment!!! (they’re in an assisted living facility, but if no one
knows she needs help….so please don’t tell me its time for a nursing home)

Spend more money on a better-quality monitor. We have one and it’s okay
because we only use it for brief periods here and there; if it was on all the time I
would’ve thrown it out in a rage long ago.
It is very static-y, prone to picking up other people’s conversations and radio and so on,
and generally kinda cheap.
Turned up loud enough to hear your Grandma, he will also be getting a boatload of static
much of the time.
Note the less-than-glowing reviews on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-
Sounds-N-Lights-Monitor/dp/B0009T2CB2
One thing about it that I find sucks is that the button to turn it on is something you can
press and think you’ve turned it on, but sometimes it turns out that you needed to press it
a bit harder. It’s fiddly and irritating and, given its purpose, not terribly safe; there should
be no ambiguity about turning a baby monitor on or off.
Consider this one: http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Avent-SCD-589-Zero-

pro 4 gigs of Muskin and Kingston 800 ram. 550 watt psu dvd burner dvd reader and 12 fans idles
at 1 celcius and runs full at about 6 celcius (due to weather i just open up my window put a coat on
and turn my house fan on and watch the temps drop.) (OhIo baBy!)
I think i want to upgrade to dual 22′ monitors and a core2quad (2.4 ghz) i now have single 22″ and
c2d (2.4 ghz) i didnt know if the 8600 gt which i also have whould run dual monitors flawlessly ?
Also i didnt know if i should upgrade to ati raedon 2900 gt to run dual monitors i dont game i use
PS3 for that i just use internet and HD movies aero 3d crap like that
so do you think i should just get the core 2 quad and increase cpu speed rather than get a new
video card and not have to upgrade to run dual monitors and the cpu has nothing to do with dual
monitors
Thank you so much!

Yeah, your system can easily handle multiple monitors. My 1.8GHz C2D with an
nVidia 7900GS runs two 21″ monitors with no problems at all. I use it to run
AutoCAD and such.
Going to the C2D Quad isn’t going to really increase your dual screen performance. Stick
to what you’ve got and save your money for the moment.

Baby monitor help?
I am having some trouble with our baby monitor. It is a Fisher-Price Private Connection
Dual Monitor. They are nice mointors you can change the channel and all of that. Ours keeps
making this cracking noise like every 5 mintues or so. It came with two monitors and both of them
are doing it.
Do you think its a problem with the receiver or interference or something? We have tried changing
the channel already. Has anyone had this problem? These monitors are only 7 months old.

We have this problem. They are very sensitive, and respond to phones being
turned on and off, microwaves, etc. If you can, try the Graco imonitor, or
whatever it is. I have a friend with that one and its crystal clear.

Do they make anything like this?
We are moving into a new house this weekend, and my son will have a playroom in the
basement, and the computer/book room will be in the upstairs. I want to have baby monitors in both
areas so in case im on the main floor, or upstairs while he is down, etc, i can make sure everything
is ok (he’s almost 5 so he’s old enough to play by himself for awhile). I havent shopped for baby
monitors in years, so i dont know what they have these days. Do they have anything with 2
transmitters? Like so i can have one upstairs, and one down…and then the one receiver to hear
both places? Or would i have to get 2 seperate monitors? I tried looking on some baby shopping
webpages, but i dont understand what they mean when they say dual this and two of that…im not
technically inclined. You ever heard of anything like this?
