How to complete the individual member signup process on Generocity

1. Getting set up on Generocity.org

2. Step One: Sign Up
• On the top left of the Generocity homepage, click Sign Up.
• A menu will open for you to fill in basic information like your name and e-mail address. When
you are complete click Submit. The menu will close and an email will be sent to you to
confirm your address.

3. Step Two: Activation
• Open your e-mail account to find a confirmation message from Generocity. Click the link in
the e-mail to confirm your account.
(We take this extra step to protect you and your privacy).

4. Step Three: Complete Your Profile
• The link will take you to a page on the site where you can complete your profile. That’s it!
You’re now ready to take full advantage of all Generocity has to offer.

5. Make the Most of Your Membership
Now that you’re a Generocity member, here’s some things you can do:
• Donate to your favorite nonprofit (find out how on the NONPROFITS page).
• Encourage your friends to donate to your favorite nonprofit by creating a fundraiser (find out
how on the GIVING page).
• Look for and start following members who have similar interests (find out how on the
MEMBERS page).
• Suggest an event for the Community Calendar (find out how on the COMMUNITY CALENDAR
page).
